out looking , searching,
twas missing something special
to make it complete
In and out of places ,
some good , some bad
seeing many faces, hearing lots of voices
feeling as if it wasn't meant to be
Then perchance, on this one day...
while talking to a few other souls
it heard it , a voice that reached out
and reached in to that place deep inside
The lil soul felt as if the voice was saying
"Come home lil one"
it was facinated, and intrigued
not understanding and made it to want
The lil soul was wanting to get closer to the voice
wanted to learn all it could
in order to figure out what was going on
with in itself
The voice left ....
poof twas gone..
the lil one felt empty...
in a way it didnt' know it could
wondering what was so special about that voice
The lil soul continued to search
then it heard the voice again
perchance this is the day to learn?
the voice stayed around,
and before long just the lil soul and the voice were alone
The lil soul was confused, yet drawn to this voice
doubtful of itself
yet yearning to hear more
when all of a sudden the voice left
again ....sigh
Lost again the lil soul whispers
deciding that the voice just didnt like her
the lil soul continues on it's quest
meeting more voices and other souls
but never forgetting the touch of the one voice
One day while in a room that was a usual place for the lil soul
it heard a voice , knew it was known to her
but couldnt' place it , felt drawn to this voice
asked the voice did she know him from somewhere's
the voice replied "maybe so"
She could feel the pull of the voice
but held back, realising the voice was with another
wondering how could she feel this soul so deeply
when it belonged to another
So the lil soul left the room
but couldnt forget that pull
knowing it was meant to be
she decides to befriend the voice
even if she can never claim it for herself
so that she may understand that pull
she wanted what part she could have
Friends they became good one's
talking about everything that was on their minds
smiling everytime she thought of him
the lil soul just knew deep inside that it was meant to be
one day the voice would be claimed by the lil soul
and the voice would be happy about it
It was hard at times, for the lil soul
who wanted so badly to open up to the voice
but held back worried it would frighten it off
So they continued to be just friends
the lil soul knew she could share anything with him
to her it felt so right, it felt peaceful
and happy
the lil soul knew she was home
Then came the day when the voice was no longer with another
he was filled with pain, and heartache
the lil soul felt his pain for him
knew it was bad, but also knew she could help him get over it
in time
She told him this, and he smiled
told her maybe she can
but he was in so much pain, he was doubtful
he knew all along that the lil soul wanted to be with him
he had felt the pull also
but knew it wasnt' the time
So they talked and got closer
smiled together , laughed together
before they knew it the lil soul had opened up
and told the voice that she had loved him all along
they talked more, and the voice realised that the lil soul
had snuck in on him and stole his heart
He had fallen in love with the lil soul
they were so far from one another
which made it hard for them
the lil soul was such a sensitive creature
that she needed constant reasurance
For twas hard for her to believe that the voice was her's finally
that she had someone who filled that void in her
after searching for so long
the voice told her that he was the same voice from so long ago
that had just disappeared
he had been confused by the pull also
They shared their past pains and joys
their wants and needs
and found themselves so close to one another
The lil soul just could hardly wait until the day came
that she could wrap her arms around him and look into his eyes
for she knew that it was meant to be
as he also had come to know
The lil soul grew impatient and insecure
thinking she wasn't at the top of his list
their communication had slowed, and she was feeling neglected
she had begged the voice to come to her
or to bring her to it
with no results
So unsure of where she stood with the voice
him not being as expresive as she was
she made some decisions that hurt herself and him
thinking it was what he wanted
knowing the greatest pain she had ever felt as she did
Through all the pain, and insecurity
thier love stayed strong, and kept bringing them back together
The lil soul is soon to be united with the voice
when that happens , they will both be complete, and whole
at peace as they were meant to be.
Faith comes to those when they need it most
believing in yourself, and your love, will pull you through
knowing that you always have someone up above that watches out for you
can do alot to help you set the things right in your life that need to be
This lil soul blesses the day that the Lord brought the voice into the room
for me to meet, he is that special something i was missing
and one day soon we will be complete and at peace
