A new day is dawning.

Like a new friendship.
With sunshine in our hearts.
Looking over the waters my
thoughts are of you.
With you so far but near.
Hopeing our friendship will grow
from year to year.
Knowing that you are there with
each passing day.
Warms my heart and soul from a
friend as great as you.
As the sun sets , I'm reminded that
you were there.
Whether it be joy or sorrow.
There's a shoulder I can lean on.
