Gould Lake Cottage - SOLD!

Located on the Bruce Peninsula in SouthWestern Ontario Canada

Gould Lake at Dawn

Just southeast of Sauble Beach, hidden away among high trees, Gould Lake is considered a paradise by those who live & summer there. And with good reason. About 1.5 miles long & 1 mile wide, Gould Lake is spring fed. The shape is quite unique. From the air it looks like a giant sugar bowl with God's long finger reaching in for a taste. Along approximately six miles of wooded shoreline, protected from high winds & weather, summer cottages & a few permanent homes rest quietly in the shade. Two narrow winding roads string the cottages together like so many beads. Gould Lake has a tranquil air about it as people unwind from city life. There are numerous activities on the lake. Waterskiers flit across the lake, hardly disturbing fishermen who cast for pike, pickerel 'n bass. Some of the best fishing around (so I'm told!!!). Sailboats, canoes, paddleboats & windsurfers drift across the water. And don't forget the swimmers! If you're in for a hearty swim, head for the peninsula that runs up the middle of the lake (about a half-mile round trip). In winter ice-fish & cross-country ski on nearby trails.
