Nov 21 '03 took 12 e-mails before I finally discovered (12 days later) that they were out of stock. I then attempted repeatedly to contact about them future availability, and have never been replied to, nor would they give me any information about contacting thme via Phone. I take this to be a sign of either a VERY poorly run company, or shady practices. I will recommend against my friends pourchasing from them in the future. |

Jan 04 '04 FM Sales sold me a Windows Home license pack for a OEM release of windows. My windows release is a store update version. On their ad nowhere was it stated this license pack would only work with the OEM version. On their sale receipt though it is stated I can't return any software where a product key is displayed. Thus, I am left holding the bag for something I can't use. I am contesting the FM Sales charge for this item with my credit card company. I hope by responsing to this survey somrthing will be done. |

I can understand that occasionally orders get messed up, but I would have expected them to at least acknowledge my emails. I had begun to wonder if there really is an FMSales! |

It's been two weeks since my order. I've sent email to 3 different addresses at FM Sales with no response. If any charges end up on my credit card, I'm filing fraud charges. |

Nov 04 '03 All the software arrived in good condition except the Win98 CD - it's product key did not work, necessitating a call to Microsoft. Also, due to a deep scratch on it, I was unable to do a complete installation, I attempted to contact FM Sales by phone (installation had become business-critical) for help, but never was able to connect, nor ever received a call in response to my messages necessitating a $35 support call to Microsoft to at least get most of it working. Through e-mail, Jeff at FM Sales offered a replacement Win98 CD with the return of the scratched one. I appeciate his offer, but would rather have gotten a clean CD in the first place, and at least have gotten some help installing this damaged software without having to pay Microsoft $35 for support. A credit to my account would be appreciated. |

Nov 07 '03 The advertisement they had on their web site is the ACADEMIC VERSION of WINDOWS XP PRO UPGRADE (E85-00146). The price of this academic version is only $99.00 in the MICROSOFT WEBSITE. This is the version they sent to me for $149.99, I have to returned to them. I was issued an RMA the following day. Do not try calling them because it is an answering system you will speak with. |

The only response from them was that the item was shipped, with shipping number that was not working to track. I have not heard from them since. |

Feb 17 '04 I did not discover the product at FM Sales directly but was referred to FM Sales by a seller on Amazon.com after placing an order and having Amazon.com cancel it because of some payment sharing dispute with the seller. That seller and FM Sales may or may not be the same entity. In any event, the product was a few dollars more and was delivered one or two days slower than as originally ordered. But, overall, the transaction was acceptable. |

Jan 02 '04 Was charged the wrong amount and did not receive all the merchandise ordered. Was not able to contact vendor. Tried phone calls, left voice mails, received no answers, sent e-mails and received a copy of the first order confirmation. The order was corrected, the additional part received and the credit issued, but no contact was ever made regarding the problem, it was just corrected. Contact in some form would have made the problem less stressful. |

The customer service is inexistent, countless emails to all their listed email addresses received no response. I will complain to all the credit card providers they are working with. |

Jan 02 '04 FM Sales website said orders ship and tracking info is sent within 24 hours if in stock. After a week with no contact from FM Sales, I emailed asking for my order status (there is no online order status). No response, but a couple days later I got an automated message with a pending tracking number. On day 13, 2/3 of my order arrived. I have yet to receive my final item and have not been advised when to expect it. I am can accomodate reasonable delays, but I am not at all happy about the lack of communications from FM Sales. |

Jan 06 '04 *** Buyer beware when shopping FM Sales. *** Their website states the following: "Most orders will ship the same day as they are ordered. Generally any order placed before 4:00 EST will ship that same day. Orders placed after 4:00 EST may not be shipped until the following day unless Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air was selected as a shipping option, in which case we can guarantee same day shipping on all orders placed before 5:00 EST." I placed my order at 11:00 a.m. EST on December 22nd, paid $14.00 to have it 2nd day aired to me, and received only one of the two items TEN days later. This item (Windows 2000 software) appears worn and previously used and its "Certificate of Authenticity" is bent, folded, and partially illegible (reminds me of something cut from the side of a cereal box). Fifteen days have passed since placing my "rush" order, and I still haven't received the second item (Norton Antivirus 2003). The worst part is that customer service is NON-EXISTENT at FM Sales! They offer no telephone support or order tracking of ANY kind! (Good luck getting a response via their Order Status email address!) I find it very disturbing that they had no problem charging my credit card within 24 hours of placing my order, but will not reply back to my email requests for order status information. I wish I would have done a little more investigation on FM Sales before choosing to do business with them. |

After repeated emails to get the product I was told by a Jennifer Murphy that the package would be shipped on 12/15/2003. I still haven't received the license I purchased and am out $355.95 at the present time. |

When calling you get an answering machine stating to leave name and phone number and they will return the phone call. They never do. I have backorders that are paid for and cannot receive any response from them by phone or email. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. The first order with them was great. Since then it has gone down hill. |

My e-mail box was 100% full (with mostly spam) at the time they may have sent one, but I wish they would have had a system that would have re-sent it a day or two later if it bounced. I did get an e-mail the day it was shipped, so that was good. The product came fine. Also, it would be nice if when they say "Rebate" they explain the terms and conditions of the rebate. |

May 06 '04 I received a notice that the product had been shipped. I waited 2 weeks. Kept calling the post office with the shipping number. They couldn't help me and told me to contact the sender. Went to the onsite and sent email telling them no one could tell me where the product was. The email was bounced back to me saying that it was undeliverable. There was no phone number, so I used a reverse address lookup and found a Mailboxes, Etc in the building they listed as their address. Called Mailboxes and found that this was vendor's P.O. Box number. I told them I couldn't make contact with them and they said they would put a notice in the vendor's mailbox. Received another notice from FM yesterday saying the product had been shipped. No explanation about what happened to the first shipment. I will wait for a few more days to see if it arrives. Very frustrating to have a vendor who does not have a phone number to contact them at. Don't recommend doing businesses who have no phone numbers. |

I made numerous phone calls to FM Sales and most were rejected by their phone system when i was able to leave a message i received no response by phone and email. I am completly dissatisfied and will never order product from them again. |

I never received shipping information, but received the order 4 to 5 days later than expected per FM Sales information. I did not qualify for an Academic version of this software, but this is what I received. Later I saw academic versions of this software being sold for much less. I sent 2 emails to this company both requesting a reply, but have not received a reply to either. This company did not deliver the SW as anticipated from their advertisement thus I had to go elsewhere to get the SW on time.
