| Frosty Strawberry Jello |
| A fun February dessert from Grandmother Cothrell's recipe file which we call Frosty Strawberry Jell-o. 1 pkg. (3 oz) strawberry jello 1-1/4 C. boiling water 1 pint vanilla ice-cream 1 to 1-1/2 C. sliced strawberries Dissolve jello in boiling water. Let set up until slightly thickened. Add ice cream, stirring until melted. Chill until thick, but not set. Fold in strawberries. Chill. Serve in special footed glass dishes, adding a dollop of whipping cream. |
