| The Cothrell's celebrated Father's Day Saturday, July 8th. David barbequed HUGE T-bone steaks in 93 degree weather. We had a delicious dinner - ending with Dad's favorite - a Strawberry Milkshake. July 6 - 9 - The Yachats Music Festival was in Monday's Living Section of the Oregonian - had a great picture and a revue. We understand the grand finale on Sunday afternoon was the song "The Impossible Dream" - with all the performers on stage. |
| McMinnville's 46th Annual TurkeyRama Festival is July 13-14-15 - No turkeys - tho' This past week-end, Yamhill hosted a Lavender Festival. Friend Chris at Barn Owl Nursery is also hosting Lavender Festivals the remaining Saturdays in July. Check her website for information and directions to the Nursery. www.barnowlnursery.com Neighbor Roxy had her own mini Lavender Festival. We sipped Lavender Lemonade and ate delicious cookies. Roxy's Lavender Cookie Recipe. She says she just adds Lavender to her Sugar Cookie recipe !
