Congratulations to Jim and Reita Lockett on the publication of their book
Tales From the Past!

No Recipe this month because you probably will get a box of chocolates - or maybe you still have some Christmas Goodies in the freezer !

If you are really lucky, you might receive a box of candy from Moonstruck  -  a  Portland Chocalatier.  Last  February's Consumer Magazine declared their Truffle the BEST IN THE WORLD.  Oprah, also, has praised Moonstruck.

FOOD WISE,  this did get our attention several years ago: Lasagna  (an ethnic dish requiring half a day of your life to prepare and one full day of rest when it's done.)  It was in an ad for "Ragu".

RED HEARTS  -  RED DRESSES  this month.  Women also have Heart Attacks.  We MUST take care of ourselves.

Coming Soon: A special recipe for Creme Brulee  -  this for our friend Katherine
Home
The Anglo-Saxons called February "Kaie-Monat, "Kale month" for this was their priniple winter vegetable.  Aren't we glad we now have many vegetables year 'round !

Some more things you should do in this lifetime -

Fly over the Grand Canyon in a helicopter

Lend money to a friend without expecting it back

Hang up on a lawyer

Play the Old Course at St. Andrews
