Doom... what a damn classic game, it was like a revolution... Everything changed after it's release, a masterpiece in the game form, definitely there is no better game than this one.

My Doom Experience

I am a fan of this game since I was 4 years old, and that was a lot of time ago! It all started when my brother got that shiny, great, evil-looking red cartridge for the SNES, he started playing it and I was looking, later that day I picked up a controller, I played, I died ten seconds after that, but it didn't matter to me, I tried again, until I finished the first map, then the same with the second and so, it was so addictive! Hours and hours playing on that SNES!

After many years of playing just in the SNES, I found out that there was a PC version (I had no idea the original version was the PC one) and I got it inmediately. I started modding this game as soon as I knew it was possible.

I still remember my very first map, it was called 444KN M500S, about the title, it doesn't mean anything, it was just random stuff that came to my mind.
Screenshot I took of 444KN the day I finished it.
My very first MIDI I did! (CAUTION: Extremely crappy!)
That picture above is one of the oldest I've ever took, that one is from 444KN M500S, that picture means a lot to me, it shows my first job done modding Doom, and it was just a beggining! I was using WadAuthor.

Wait! You're wondering about that marine! Well, the marine was a Zombieman, but with XWE I took the easy job of replacing the graphics and the sounds

Also with that map it came the idea of making a whole Megawad, which I never finished and had the lame working name of "DoomJose" and no, you won't find it here because I ripped off maps from a wad that I don't remember how it's called or who did it, maybe one day I will take that stuff out (that is the whole Episode 2, basically) and leave the music (I did my first MIDI song for that megawad!) and the Maps I did, the images too.

I still got a SNES cartridge, not the same I had when I was 4, because it was stolen, but I bought a used one that is basically the same thing and now it's mine hehehe, but I still got the manual from the one I had when I was 4, the box is long lost, but here I put a picture of my cartridge and the manual (Click to see in full size).
Click to get a bigger version of it.
Well, enough stuff of my life, now, the links to all the files I will be uploading here, be sure to get them! They are all cool!

Town Infection minisite
The first working page in this Geocities hosted server, Town Infection was a success even before it's release, my first real and serious Megawad! Be sure to get it!

DoomJose (Cleaned version)
The cleaned version got all the unnecesary stuff out (I did this based on the Ultimate Doom IWAD, so there were many stuff that wasn't useful at all, and many levels weren't made by me, so, for respect, I deleted them)

DoomJose II: The Baron of Hell Eggs
The "sequel" to the pointless megawad I did... it was just an excuse to modify the Doom II IWAD

MultiDis
It started like an "Optimized for DeathMatch" version of E3M8, but after that I added more maps, this wad is special; it is compatible with both Doom and Doom II, with different stuff for both! Be sure to check this out!

Mirrored levels:
Mirrored levels are the normal levels of Doom and Doom II but mirrored (duh!). I did them, I know they are in some other place because they're really easy to do, it gives a whole new feeling to Doom! Many time it feels like new levels!

Episode 1 - Knee-Deep in the Dead Mirrored
Episode 2 - The Shores of Hell Mirrored
Episode 3 - Inferno Mirrored
Episode 4 - Thy Flesh Consumed Mirrored
Doom II Mirrored

Doomsday - jDoom stuff:
Stuff I have made for Doomsday for my own pleasure, but now I want to share a little of it.

Doom 3 guy face for the Status Bar
Who the hell want to see a pixelated face, a scared guy in a helmet or BJ when you can have Doom 3 guy that fit better than any other character?

Doom 3 - Doom 64 sound pack
Many sounds pack I got around were crappy and I didn't like them, so I did my own one, based on sounds from Doom 3 and reequalized Doom 64 sounds.
