Dear Information Systems Professional,

I am a professor in the Morrison School of Management at Arizona State University . A study is being conducted to access the use of data mining tools in business environment.

Data mining tools and applications are becoming more available for business usage. Specific applications apply to many of the functional areas of business such as marketing, management, finance and accounting. This survey has been designed to determine the readiness and potential shortcomings that need to be addressed to understand the current use of data mining tools applications and software. This survey is targeted towards information systems professionals who have a certain familiarity with data mining business applications. T he survey will be web based and will use publicly available lists of IS professionals.

I am requesting your participation which will involve approximately 10 minutes. Your participation in this project is completely voluntary. If you choose to participate, kindly complete the Web based survey available at the following link: Take the Survey
