A haunted woods filled with Confederate ghosts summoned from death to seek their revenge.
When her love, Captain Gray, and his battalion were killed at the Battle of Gettysburg in July 1863, she plotted her revenge.
Just months later, Union troops encamped on her property. It was Halloween and Miss Bellwether used black magic to summon her love, Captain Gray, and his troops to seek revenge.
The Gray Ghosts materialized from the woods and
killed every Union soldier. Miss Bellwether ran to see her
love again, but in the heat of the battle, she was killed as well.
Then at the stroke of midnight on Halloween night,
the Gray Ghosts disappeared into the woods.
Every Halloween night since residents report hearing the sounds
of battle and cries of the dying echoing from these woods.
The Gray Ghosts have once again returned to seek their revenge.
