Just a bit of Trivia for you, Have you ever wondered how the name COSWORTH came about?  Well, it is the the culmination of the last names of the founders of the company.  Namely Mike COStin and Keith DuckWORTH.

If you have ever wondered what a 150 thousand k plus Cossie engine looked like, well............. like below actually.  These pictures were taken whilst the block was still on the trailer after I had picked it up from the scrappy's.

Problems with the block:

• New water and turbo hoses were needed as these were either worn out or had been cut when the engine was removed at the scrappy's
• The exhaust manifold was cracked due to the extreme heat that is built up here
• Mr. turbo was in much need of a re-build
• The pistons and piston rings had outlived their prime and needed to be replaced
• The crank was worn at the big-end bearings
• Oil pump had seen its best days
• The clutch was almost finished
