Close-up Of The Break
The bone circled in re,d is the Navaculare bone. Thisn is not supposed to have a break line across the middle of it. This break is known as a 'clean' break, as it is broken near perpendicular to the length of the bone. My specialist told me that I had broken the bone in a very positive manner (as far as this is possible).
Also notice the chipped bone fragment in the left of the red box. This too is not supposed to be like this.
Finally, on the right hand side, in the middle of the X-ray, you will also notice that there is a piece of bone that is 'floating' on its own. Much like the others in the X-ray, with the exception that this fragment should be connected to the bone directly below it. This is what you might call an old war wound! Dirt Bikes are damned hard to ride fast!
