Wolf Jr. with no more hurt and no more tears. You are loved and

Wolf was a pup from Dakata's one and only litter. A rare pure white Malamute.
We sold him to friend of the family, whom worked for us and we thought we knew pretty well. It goes to show you...people can hide their dark side. As a pup, he was brought back to visit many times and every time we asked his owner, for years, Wolf was the greatest dog! After a couple years, of hearing what a great dog he was, the owner told us he broke loose from his lead while on a walk in Connellsville PA. I searched for up to a year, contacting rescue after rescue to see if anybody had turned him in. I put ads in the newspapers, with no responses. I ran into a friend of his a month later and she told me how the owner abused him to point of no return. He made him mean with beatings, so many and so horrific I can't put the details on this site. She apologized for not coming to me in the first place and cried. She knew I would confiscate Wolf Jr. and thought I would put him down. I called everywhere to see if I could bring the owner to justice, but they told me it was impossible without the dog to prove the abuse. They would not go on the word of his friends. So we are left to wonder, if he did get loose, is he running free and a threat to others or was the owner finally tired of him and did away with him. My best hope for this gorgeous dog, is that he did get away and found the love he so well deserved in the first place within another family somewhere. The part that really upset me... he signed a contract with me that stated, if you were having trouble with a pup or decided you could no longer care for them, they must come back to me! Two other owners followed that rule to a tee. Two pups came back within two years because of unforeseen circumstances within the families. Both dogs were adopted back out to loving families. HE KNEW THIS!
