Today my parents are going to see the reception venue dk & I like. I have already shown them pictures of the place, but they would like to see it for themselves. If all goes well this will be the place. Keep your fingers crossed!

Diamondback Golf Club. This is the entrance. What I really like about this place is that it is in a secluded area and to get to the main clubhouse you have to drive through a winding path. It's quite beautiful. dk & I shot these pictures 2 weeks ago. There will be no snow in October next year.

The clubhouse. I think it looks very pretty. We almost didn't get to see this place because we really liked another place. Luckily the other place didn't work out.

The picture is a bit dark, but this is the main entrance. The ceiling is very high and I love the chandelier.

This is right before you enter the ballroom. They were setting up for the Christmas Party when dk & I went that day so these are some of the company prizes that they were giving out. For our wedding reception this area will be where we put the place cards, guestbook, and so on.

The ballroom. It's so pretty! We are going to put chair covers, but I think the chairs look pretty without it.

This is the bar. We won't be having an open bar, but we are offering each person 2 alcohol drinks + 2 wine bottles on each table.

dk loves the patio. There is a huge patio that is attached to the ballroom. Most places that we saw didn't have it attached. That was inconvenient because the guests would have to exit off the main entrance to go outside. That's why we like this place so much! Leysa, the Food & Beverage Manager, told us that during the summer/fall there is a pond that the patio overlooks. Another bonus!

A quick look of the parking lot. I wish it wasn't winter when we shot this. I can picture this place looks really nice during the spring/summer/fall.
