| What Is Cosmic Soup? |
| Good question... I wish there was an easy answer. According to Theoretical Physicists, Cosmic Soup is a term given to the theoretical state of matter after it has passed across the event horizon (singularity) of a black hole. We all know of the example of every atom in your body lining up in a line one atom high and one atom wide. That is your state as you approach the singularity. But what then? Where does your little chorus line of dancing particles go after that? Imagine, if you will, perhaps some other dimension or place in the Universe (if the Worm Hole Theory is true) where there is nothing but a mass confused conglomeration of matter. More like a cosmic sewer where all the shit lands and makes even fouler shit. A Shitopia if you will. This is where Cosmic Soup falls into place. Call it soup... call it shit... some even call it Galactic Foam (but that sounds like the Queen Mother of all contraceptives to me). It's like being in a world where every available point for matter to exist is occupied by some particle that was once a part of something else... something that was whole before it slipped into the black hole. Imagine yourself trapped in a three dimension world of white noise (that crap on your TV when you can't get any stations... the snow). So there you go... |
