This show was an unscheduled performance at the end of their tour. Cosmic American main man Mick Spencer's parents run a pub in deepest darkest Leicestershire and it was here where Jolene played a great set to a bunch of fans and a handful of bemused locals who had just nipped for a swift half of Mild.
This may explain track 6
of John Crooke's solo album "Tongue" - the song is called
"Upstairs at the Flying
Horse just off Junction 22 at the B561 interchange"
