Each segment will show the process of documenting and finding positive findings of a haunted situation by science and technology recording.

The dispelling team segments are hard core and to the point in the face of the action or current [spirits/ghost], we view all the intentions to dominate the situation and return to harmony people-places-things or events.

Our tactics are not for the faint of heart, we are about harmonizing environments, spirits that  comply  to mandates will be contended with accordingly, those that don't will be handled with extreme prejudice.

Terminology / Definitions

Amorphous- Entity with no shape or form

Aura- cloud or mist of energy that surrounds all living things. This can appear in different colors that are said to reflect that person's mood.

Apparition- unexpected appearance or sight as in a ghostly form

Banshee- This wailing spirit's legend comes from Scotland and Ireland. Supposedly, if you hear the Banshee wailing, you have only 3 days to live.

Clairvoyance- Ability to see the unseen

Cold Spots- Areas where spirit, ghost or any paranormal activity occurs that is colder than surrounding area.

Conjuring- The calling of a spirits/spirits using black majic

Crisis Apparition- Spirit that appears at the time of death or when someone is seriously hurt or ill

Demon- An entity that was never human to begin with. An evil presence that cannot hide what it is. Demons should never be under estimated nor toyed with. If you feel that a demon is present where you are ghost hunting or you are told to get out by what you suspect to be a demon, LEAVE immediately! These types of entities should only be dealt with by experienced or dedicated personnel.
Demons can and will cause bodilyharm  to you and others around you.

Demon Possession- The act of being possessed by an evil entity (Demon)

Demonology- The study of demons and their ranks

Doppelganger- Spirit resembling someone still living

Ectoplasm- White cloud or mist-like spirit form that has more of a solid form to it.

Electromagnetic Field- field created by a combination of electric and magnetic energy that emits from radio and light waves to gamma and cosmic rays

EVP- (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) Voices believed to be spirits trying to communicate on a tape or digital recorder

Gauss Meter- device taht measures electromagnetic fields

Ghost- The presence of a deceased person or thing in many forms.......orb, apparition,voices, etc.

Ghost Ship- these are ships that have been involved in a disater at sea of that have sank. There are numerous reports of people seeing ships at sea that are long lost.

Ghost Lights- Ball of light (Not Orb) seen before the spirit is a full blown apparition

Haunting- Constant appearances and/or manifestation of spirit activity in a dwelling or toward a person

Human Spirit- Spirit of a human that is deceased. Some are said to stay behind for any number or reasons. It is NOT true that they are trapped here. They stay behind by choice.

Incubus- Spirit  that sexually assaults (rapes)  women

Infestation- This is when evil spirits inhabit a location

Inhuman Spirit- considered to be a demon or devils.

Malicious Spirit- A spirit that is evil or spiteful. These spirits will destroy things of personal or financial value for the sake of hurting others

Manifestation- The appearance or taking form of an entity. Can also mean the outbreak of activity.

Materialization- visible manifestation of a spirit

Necromancy- The act of calling the dead

Obsession- The second stage of a haunting where the invading entity begins to exert its power over its victim.  This is mostly done through the mind.

Orb- Spirit form in the shape of round balls of light.These are extremely common in ghost photography and can also come in different colors. Some are even caught on film in motion.

Ouija Board- Game marketed by Parker Brothers that has had many BAD consequences. Most people buy this for fun, then it turns into disaster. This board opens doors that should be left alone

Outward Manifestation- Any event of paranormal activity, i.e.: disembodied voices, movement of objects, horrible smells, manipulation with temperatures, etc.

Paranormal- Occurences that cannot be explained and/or is beyond human perception

Phantomania- a term used to describe a type of paralysis that occurs when a person is under attack by supernatural forces

Phone calls from the dead- These phone calls have been known to occur within the first 24 hours to even years after a loved one's death. The reason for the deceased calling somone is to warn od impending death, to give important information or just to say "Goodbye".
There is usually a lot of static on the line and the ring isn't a normal ring. Kind of flat sounding.

Poltergeist- A German word meaning (Polter=to knock) and (Geist=ghost) thus the words knock ghost. These types of spirits can be very mischievous and malevolent. They move things, throw things, pinch, punch, bite, slam doors or windows. They also can come with ungodly smells or orders.
They can end just quickly as they start. Some have been also known to sexually assault the living.

Possession- The taking over of one's mind, soul or body by an evil entity (demon)

Provocation- The act or provoking or demanding a spirit to reveal itself. This is not to be attempted if you do NOT know what you are doing or dealing with

Radio Voice Phenomenon- Hearing the voice of spirits through a radio

Rapping- Is used by entities to communicate with the living. Usually kncoking or tapping to reply yes or no.

Retro cognition- Knowing of past events that are paranormal

Revenant- One who returns from the dead

Sensitive- a person who possesses a high degree of proficiency in extrasensory perception

Shadow ghosts- Dark forms that have no distinguishing features. I have had many cases where the clients have seen dark shadows moving about or just standing there

Appearance & Characteristics:
Shadow ghosts appear as a shadow of sorts. They look a bit like Ecto- mist but are dark gray to black in color. There are actually three separate types and we list them all in classes below. In photographs, it's easy to confuse them with natural shadows, so be careful with your analysis. They are usually extremely sneaky and evasive. When they are spotted it's usually out of the corner of your eye or as they are darting through a wall. They can also be spotted as a reflection in shinny objects and mirrors. As for photography, They are one of the rarest ghost types to be captured on film. Birds and cats are especially sensitive to them.

Type A - Appear as a small dark misty cloud and are almost always under two feet in length, but can hover or float up to 8 feet high.

Type B - Appear as a huge glob of thick cloudy mass. They typically range from 2 to 8 feet in height.

Locations spotted:
Most often spotted in homes. Have also been seen outdoors at a distance.

Speculations:
I guess the general consensus would be that they are ghosts in one of their forms. Some would say that they are demonic spirits or creatures, but that doesn't seem to be the case, at least in most cases..

Jersey Devil: In the Pine Barrens region of northern New Jersey and New York, for more than two and a half centuries there have been reports of a very strange and singular creature described as having an equine head, glowing, reddish eyes, stork's legs, forelimbs with claw-bearing paws, a pointed tail and membranous, bat-like wings. It emits a shrill, piercing scream, and has been sighted rifling through garbage, standing in paths and roads, and flying just above the tree tops. One rather indistinct photo of this Jersey Devil has produced, but to the best of my knowledge, no one has yet recorded its ear-splitting cry.

Anomaly: An occurrence or condition removed from ordinarily understood experience

Anthropomorphize: The human centric tendency of imposing human perceptions and priorities upon spirits and other worldly creatures or forces, assuming that all consciousnesses must be akin to ours on some basic levels. (This is a logical assumption when applied to the survival instinct and perhaps to physical procreation; anything more is merely a guess.)

Astral Travel: Belief or theory that a person's spiritual awareness can temporarily detach itself from the physical body, remaining connected by what is called the "silver cord," and experience things in other locations, time frames or dimensional planes. Some refer to this as "Astral Projection" or "Mind Projection."

Continuance: Commonly referred to as life-after-death, survival of the psyche post cessation of the biological organism which had generated it.

Cleansing (Psychic): A less ritualized form of exorcism, where-in a dwelling or site is purified and malevolent influences are banished through prayers, spoken as the petitioner moves through the area.

Ectoplasm: A filmy, quasi-solid substance which supposedly issues from the bodies of mediums (from the mouth, nostrils, eyes, ears, navel or nipples) during trance states. In photographs, this phenomenon seems to resemble soaked muslin fabric. Whether or not it has ever been genuine, curiously, virtually no ectoplasm has been reported in the past fifty years.

Empath: An individual who is particularly sensitive to the psychic emanations of his or her surroundings, even to a degree of telepathically receiving and experiencing the emotions of others in their proximity. Obviously, psychic empathy can be regarded as a mixed blessing, and the empath must learn to gain a measure of control over this ability.

Entity: A disembodied "consciousness" commonly referred to as ghost, spirit or (if of an apparently malicious or resentful nature) demon.

Haunting: The manifestation of a ghostly presence, or presences, attached to a specific locale. Hauntings can be categorized into four (usually) distinct types, these being Intelligent (responsive), Poltergeist (likely initiated by pent-up stress on a subconscious level), Residual (replay) and Demonic (non-human origin).

Infestation: Repeated and persistent paranormal phenomena, generally centered around a particular location or person(s). Also known as a haunting.

Influence: An invisible entity of undetermined nature, effecting the inhabitants of a dwelling. This may initially manifest as an inexplicable feeling of uneasiness, then be followed by more definite signs which reveal a haunting.

Lurking Enigma: "Lurk" means to furtively move about, and I can think of no more appropriate term to describe this phenomenon - a type of entity which can be visible to human observers, yet appears in distorted, unidentifiable forms. Common traits reported by witnesses include glowing red or silver eyes, dark color (fur or feathers), startling speed and agility, in some cases winged and capable of flight, as with the 'Jersey Devil.' Although such nebulous creatures seem to mean us no harm, encounters with them can be terrifying, and provoke much curiosity. As one would expect, they are extremely elusive.

Materialization: A ghost appearing visually, suddenly or gradually, sometimes indistinct, sometimes seemingly quite solid.

Spirit Rescue: Attempting contact with entities, intended to alleviate the entities' distress and aid them in the resolution of their conflicts, and in "crossing over" to a higher, spiritual plane.

Moon phases: The moon's position has an affect on magnetic fields that even controls our ocean's tides. Near or on a full moon seems to be a good time to get results out in the field

. Geomagnetic Storm: A geomagnetic storm happens when charged particles from the sun (or solar wind) hit the Earth. Geomagnetic storms effect all types of magnetic fields, and can even interfere with radio transmissions.

Solar X-Rays: Basically, this is when a solar flare is thrown from the sun and then is crashed back onto its surface. When this happens, solar x-rays and other radiation is forced out towards the Earth at very high speeds.

Types Of Spirits

Many suggest that in order to get rid of ghosts, you must first determine what type of spirits they are. Listed below are some suggestions for helping you determine what type of spirit you might have. Be sure to see our "Types Of Spirits" page as well for more information on different kinds of spirits and their characteristics.

Spirits: Feel a cool breeze when no windows are open? Smell a sweet smell or a smell like that of roses or oranges? You most likely have a spirit. Notice I only mentioned things you can feel and smell? Spirits don't have the energy it takes to appear. So you have to rely on your other senses to identify them.

Ghosts: Remember, a ghost was a person and people pretty much retain their full personalities after death. If someone was a complete grumpy jerk in life - they will remain so in death. Ghosts tend to be more attracted to places rather than specific people and they can be territorial about those places. In many, many cases, they are just not aware they have passed on. For all the noise and hubbub, a ghost will NOT hurt you. But, for the same reason, don't give it the attention it craves or it will get more and more demanding in its attention getting antics. Also, just like spirits, a ghost will use your energy for themselves to continue manifesting.

Entities: These are the most intense of infestations, and fortunately, very rare. Many people have opinions on what this final level of ghosts is - some people think they are extremely violent individuals, murderers, psychotics, and just plain evil people. I tend to believe that they are something that was never human to begin with. Strangely enough, they are almost exclusively called forth through Ouija Boards, seances, and necromancy ceremonies. If someone else called forth an entity in a home - it can remain dormant for years - even decades - until circumstances are right for it to manifest. It is patient and will wait until it can emerge at it's strongest. It feeds on anger, strive, depression, arguments, and general turmoil. It makes these emotions worse and the worse it can make the situation, the stronger it actually becomes.

How To Tell The Type Of Infestation You Have

Spirits: Spirits do not make noises and are not disruptive. They rarely haunt places and tend to be more attracted to people. They cause little clutter in your daily life and tend to appear when you are stressed or depressed. Strangely enough, I have found that spirits who are haunting you are rarely someone you knew in life. The only reason you don't want a spirit around is in times of stress or depression, a spirit can make matters worse by feeding off your energy and leaving you tired and thus leaving your defenses down. And they won't stop, so before it becomes a problem - better to cleanse your house now.

Ghosts: Ghosts are like Spirits in many ways, they can bring smells with them. Usually oranges or roses. I have also heard of chocolate and baking cookies. You may catch flashes of light out of the corner of your eye. Ghosts tend to have more "personality" than a spirit. You may experience any or all of the following:

• Voices out of nowhere.

• The feeling someone is watching you.

• Footsteps leading into or out of rooms that no one is present in.

• An "electric" smell.

• Small items moved (favorite items to move are shoes and jewelry).

• Lights coming on or going off by themselves.

• Electrical appliances coming on by themselves (usually not plugged in).

• Phone calls (yes, sometimes they call).

• Bed covers moved off you (sometimes jerked right off you).

• Touches (light pat on the back, the touch will be warm, never cold).

If you have any or all of these signs of ghost infestation, and you are feeling overly tired or depressed, wanting to keep your drapes and shades drawn and be in the dark, and you are feeling withdrawn and tired all the time, with no good reason, you may be having your energy being sapped by an attention craving ghost. I can not stress enough to have yourself fully checked and given a clean bill of health - if you pass with flying colors - you just might have a ghost.

Entities: Often, in the beginning, these are confused with Ghosts. They make noises, project voices, move things, however there is never a pleasant smell with these - even in the beginning. They leave a calling card of an odor not unlike rotten eggs. In addition to all the ghost characteristics above, you can also have any or all of the following:

• Bed covers jerked off -usually violently.

• Physical damage - slaps, hard pinches, scratches and punches. In rare cases -sexual assault.

• Knocks or taps in groups of 3.

• Activity will peak at 3:13 in the morning -you may find yourself waking up at that exact time for no reason in the beginning of the infestation.

• Scratches in the walls that sound like animals.

• Animal noises at night when there are no animals around (dogs fighting, birds screeching or strange sounding birds singing).

• Materialization of Black forms usually either a man or a dog. normally accompanied by a foul odor. These forms have no features they look like a solid shadow.

They can remain dormant for many, many years and can suddenly be drawn forward to active duty if there is a general atmosphere of arguments and tension within a family. The Entity will first center on one person in the home, and this person may think they are losing their mind. That is precisely what the entity wants - the more stressed it can make you the more anxious energy it can draw off of you, thus becoming stronger. The person who tends to become withdrawn or depressed in stressful situations is their ideal candidate.

Less Common Suggestions For Getting

Rid Of Spirits, Ghosts And Entities

Spirits

Sunlight will diminish a spirit's activity almost immediately. Rosemary works beautifully to render a spirit dormant. If you don't want the dried herbs around - try planting a little. Keep a little potted plant of rosemary in the room that the activity seemed centered around.

Ghosts

Sunlight - sunlight - sunlight - let the light in! Stop acknowledging it and don't talk to it, don't talk about it in your home.. even if it manifests itself right in front of you. If you don't put energy into it - it can't stay. Consider blessing, if you are of a religious nature, consider having the clergyman or religious figure of your choosing bless your home and everyone in it.

Natural light can render the entity dormant if you take measures to clear up your home life too. No more yelling, and work on clearing up problems, and you can stop the problem before it starts. DO NOT throw holy water around your house or attempt any spirit depart rituals by yourself, this will tend to only anger the entity and it will show you precisely how displeased it is with you between midnight and 3am.

If you believe you are having a paranormal problem in your home, here are some steps you should take:

1. Don't jump to conclusions. Always look for everyday explanations for whatever is happening before deciding that you have ghost problems. Consider psychiatric and other health factors as well. (Hearing and seeing things can be a sign of schizophrenia or temporal-lobe epilepsy.) Banging sounds on the walls or in the heating system can have very mundane explanations!

One fascinating explanation for many phenomena are very low-frequency sound waves or "standing waves." Trapped in a building, these can cause many of the phenomena associated with ghosts. These waves are inaudible to humans but not to many animals. In humans, they can cause feelings of cold, nervousness, "hair standing up on the back of the neck," minor poltergeist activity and even your basic apparition

2. Bear in mind that if what we've said about "quantum reality" is true, every person and every house will experience space-time "glitches" now and then: the occasional shadow seen out of the corner of your eye, or the iron or bit of clothing found now and again where you didn't put it.

3. If you conclude that you do have such a situation, realize that you and/or one or more household members are part of the problem. Consciously or unconsciously, people in troubled houses always have a part in causing and/or feeding the phenomena. So you need to find what you're doing that's introducing or encouraging negative energy.

4. Then you need to stop it and bring in positive energy to replace it. I find this always eases the situation and often cures it.

Examples of negative energy: using Ouija boards or other occult practices that "open the door" to parasites, negative feelings among those who live in the house (fights, grudges, financial strains, etc.) and the extreme depression or anxiety of you or any other household member.

5. Part of bringing in this positive energy is fostering good feeling, humor, love and other unifying and uplifting factors in your household. Also, good physical exercise and developing healthy interests outside the home will help.

This is always good for a household, whether you have paranormal problems or not.

6. If you do encounter an "orb," entity or other manifestation, try to avoid fear or anger. If it really is a negative entity, this will deny it the negative energy it subsists on. As a matter of fact, always try to send out feelings of love, compassion and peace.

7. In general, however, do not give these entities attention. Do not try to communicate with them: They are not your friends! Don't try to get "chummy" and don't convince yourself to feel comfortable with them around, even if they seem "friendly."

Instead, concentrate on fostering positive energy among the household members.

8. Anytime you are afraid, pray in whatever way is comfortable for you. Visualize yourself, other household members and your home engulfed in a peaceful, positive white light. This will "take the wind" out of a negative manifestation by strengthening you instead of it.
