Anger building to singe
I run from the house in a rage
Hungering for freedom from my cage
Never looking over my shoulder
Running faster, feeling ever bolder
Escape is within my grasp
Leaving behind my deathly past
How did I allow you control
Letting you steal my soul
Putting to the test my heart
