Dark Days of Winter
The pale winter sky fills my day,
The cold enchanting clouds linger in gray,
Winds whispering around my body leaving me cold,
The air hangs ever so crips and bold,
I hunger for a place to warm my heart,
A place to lay naked and stark,
Barren and left without is me,
Shriveled and cold for an eternity,
My skin grows dull and pale,
Inside my spirit begins to wail
