A slithering reptilian sea
A viper, a cobra, an asp
They slide closer and I gasp
Hypnotized by their grace
Entranced I stand my place
Fangs penetrate my flesh
My heart skips in my chest
The painful burn as they inject
Coursing through me, their venomous death
A convulsion knocks me to the floor
They strike and strike again some more
Knowing nothing but the kill
Another spasm and I lie still
