Subtle avoidance, silent indications,
They say that actions speak,
She does nothing and yet says it all,
Her smiles still the same,
Yet that warmth all gone,
I knew her so well and yet -
She hath made himself a stranger to me.
�Why� is what I ne�er asked,
And �Why� is what she ne�er explained,
Reasons untold, unexplained, unexpressed,
I ask her not �Why thou hates me so�,
I ask my heart - �Why thou loveth at all�.
