| A Summer In the Country Chapter 3/10: Giving To Others Summary: As Sebastian gets closer to winning the bet Kathryn schemes to stop him. If there was one thing Sebastian knew about Kathryn in was this: she was so beautiful when she slept. You could say angelic even. Of course when she was awake it was another story entirely. Although it was relatively early Sebastian wanted to see his step sister before he left on his date with Annette. Ok it wasn't technically a date but they would be spending the day together and he fully intended to use the time to his advantage. As expected Kathryn's advice had worked like a charm. After Sebastian had apologized for acting like a jerk her attitude towards him began to melt somewhat. She was still a little weary of him but after he agreed to help her today she had all but kissed him. Sebastian pulled the rose out that he had gotten from his aunts garden and gently caressed Kathryn's face with it. As she slowly began to awake her brow wrinkled in confusion. When her eyes eventually fluttered open and focused on him she asked "Sebastian?" He smiled and sat down next to her on the bed "morning." The two kissed softly for a minute, which was a minute to long for Kathryn. Finally they pulled away and Annette smiled slightly at him. "I-I better go. Sebastian was ready to kill someone. Actually as he stared across the room at his conniving step sister there was only one person who he wanted to maim. He sat across the room glaring coldly at her with his arms crossed over his chest. Kathryn all the while just sat conformably in a chair wearing a gloating smile. Meanwhile Annette and her boyfriend Trevor hadn't shut up since he arrived. He should of known it would be to easy. Sebastian knew Kathryn well enough to know that the girl didn't give up without a fight, so it should of occurred to him that she would be up to something. As soon as the three of them had walked into the living room to Annette's awaiting boyfriend, Sebastian knew somehow Kathryn was responsible. His suspicions were confirmed when Kathryn admitted that she had found out where Trevor was and sent him a plane ticket. She happily told all this to a grateful Annette. "Oh Kathryn that was so sweet of you! Thank you, I missed him so much." As Annette gushed on and on about Kathryn's nice gesture Sebastian couldn't believe that she was so happy about it.
