Something Different by:Kerimack Summary: After Kathryn meets Annette she invites her over Chapter 8: Annette's Return "Kathryn, I like you to meet my daughter Annette" Kathryn looked over the young blond girl in front of her. Although she had seen Annette before from a distance, this was her first real good look at her. She was hardly impressed. This is what I thought I was competing with? Christ, what a joke! No wonder Sebastian had no problem breaking up with her. Kathryn smiled politely and shook Annette's hand "it's nice to finally meet you Annette. I've heard so many wonderful things about you." Annette returned the smile "like wise. My father has just been telling me all the wonderful things you have done for the school." Kathryn was curious as to how Headmaster Hardgrove described her. Probably the perfect student, well rounded and all around good person. What an idiot. Hardgrove had asked Kathryn to come to his office that morning. He told her there was someone special he wanted her to meet. Kathryn hadn't given much thought as to who it could be, so she had been genuinely surprised to see Annette when she walked into the headmasters office. But not as surprised as Sebastian is going to be she thought. "I thought the two of you should meet seeing as you have so much in common" remarked Hardgrove. Yeah we've both fucked the same guy, only he didn't dump me afterwards. "Kathryn, Annette is going to finish her senior year here at Manchester. I was hoping you could help her get acquainted with the building and maybe introduce her to some people" he turned towards is daughter "Kathryn is very popular." Kathryn really didn't want to have to cart miss virginity around all day, but she thought she could use it to her advantage. She was curious what the real reason was for Annette transferring schools in the middle of her senior year. Also she wanted to find out how Annette felt about her step brother. "I would be happy to show Annette around. I think you're really going to love Manchester Annette." "So do I" she said with that sickeningly sweet smile. "Well, why don't I start by giving you a tour of the campus" "Great" They both said good bye to Hardgrove and headed out into the hall. Annette turned to Kathryn "I'm sorry about my father. You really don't have to hang out with me all day if you don't want to, I mean you're probably really busy with clubs and friends. I can find my own way around." "No, I want to, it's no problem. Manchester is a tough school especially if your transferring in the middle of the school year. How come your attending now?" Kathryn studied Annette as she looked down at the ground and was quiet for a moment. "Um..I..I missed my father. I really don't have much family in Kansas, just my grandparents. My mom died a year ago so he's really all I have. I just missed him a lot so I thought what the hell? Why don't I transfer to Manchester" "That's nice" Kathryn replied not buying a word of it. She missed her father? Yeah right! Kathryn knew she was hiding something she just couldn't figure out what, but she would. For the rest of the day Kathryn showed Annette around campus and introduced her to some of her friends. She was careful to make sure that they didn't bump into Sebastian. She wanted to see the look on her brothers face when he saw Annette. She wanted it to be a surprise so she was holding off for the right moment when it would surprise Sebastian the most. Kathryn has yet to ask Annette about her relationship with Sebastian, she was waiting for the right time to bring it up. Then a thought occurred to her, Annette hadn't brought it up. Kathryn was sure Sebastian had mentioned her or someone else had. She had to know Sebastian and Kathryn where related so why hadn't she mentioned it? She just assumed that it was probably too painful for the poor dear to talk about. "Well I think you've met just about everyone. Well except my step brother Sebastian. I'm sure he's around here somewhere" Kathryn looked over at Annette and she looked nervous. Kathryn tried to repress her smile. "Oh don't worry you'll like him. Most girl do" "Oh Kathryn, I have to confess something" "What?" "I already know your brother. We met last summer and we were...um?involved" "Really I had no idea. He never mentioned it." Kathryn smiled to herself as she threw in that last bit. She wanted to make sure that Annette knew she was nothing more than a good fuck to Sebastian. If that. "Well what happened between the two of you?" "Last summer I stayed at his aunts home and we got to know each other well. I mean we became good friends, but then I became home sick and left. He never mentioned me?" "No, I'm sorry." Kathryn was getting a rush out of the hurt expression on Annette's face "But I'm sure he misses you" "You think?" "Oh yeah. I bet he was a complete wreak without you. In fact I think I have an idea. How would you like to come over to my house after school? I'm sure we'll run into Sebastian there and you two can talk this out" Annette's expression immediately brightened "really? I would love that. Are you sure?" "Of course" "Thanks Kathryn, you're really a good friend." Annette leaned over and gave Kathryn a hug. Kathryn returned it and smiled when she thought of Sebastian's face when he walked in his house and found Annette waiting for him. * * * * * * Sebastian arrived home shortly after Kathryn had. He had taken his car to school and Kathryn had gotten a ride from there driver. He hadn't seen her all day and as he walked in the house his mind whirled with all the things he wanted to do to her. It amazed him that even though he had already slept with her he still wanted her. Most days she was all he could think about. He assured himself that these feelings were only temporary and that he would eventually get bored with her. As Sebastian approached the main hall the butler came around the corner and handed him his mail. "Also sir, your sister is entertaining company in the sitting room and she asked that you join her." "Whatever" Sebastian grumbled as he looked through his mail. He walked into the sitting room and without looking up asked "so who's ass do you want me to kiss now sis?" "Hello Sebastian" Sebastian immediately looked up from his mail and was met with Annette. Sebastian was so surprised he almost dropped the letters in his hand. "Annette" he replied trying to keep the surprise from his voice. She looked the same as he remembered her, pretty and glowing. There wasn't a trace of hatred on her face. After he composed himself he asked "what are you doing here?" "Your sister invited me" "Did she?" Sebastian looked over past Annette and was met with Kathryn's amused smile. God damn bitch he thought. She wasn't happy unless she was making his life miserable in some way. He shook his head and returned his attention back to Annette "so when did you get back?" "A couple of days ago. Today was my first day at Manchester and Kathryn was nice enough to show me around." "Well that's Kathryn always wanting to help people." Or destroy them. He wondered just what his dear step sister was up to. There was an awkward pause in the conversation. Kathryn then sat up from her seat and said "I'm going to go get some drinks from the kitchen." "Why don't you let mai lee get them?" Sebastian asked with a fake smile. "Oh I can get it. Why don't you two catch up." He watched her as she walked away and cursed to himself. Annette looked like she was about to say something but Sebastian interrupted her. "You know what my sister is many things, but Martha Stewart isn't one of them. I better go help her." He then walked quickly out of the room and into the kitchen where Kathryn was pouring herself a glass of wine. "Oh is that the type of beverage you plan on serving to your new friend?" Kathryn smirked "think she would like some?" As she walked past him he pulled her arm and pushed her into the wall "what the fuck are you doing?" "What?" "Inviting Annette over, making her your new best friend" Kathryn pulled out of his grip and took a sip of her wine "Hardgrove asked me to show her around. We got to talking and your name came up. I think she still has a thing for you. Strange you would think after being fucked and dumped she would never want to see you again." "Yeah that is strange. I guess you two have more in common than I thought" She gave him an evil glare "what's that suppose to mean?" "Well Court did the same thing to you, dumped you for that nit wit, then as soon as he got bored, came back to you, and you were of course more than willing to take him back" "It's not the same thing" Sebastian took a sip from the wine bottle "Sure it is. Only you know, I don't think I'll take Annette back. Maybe I'll just fuck her again till it gets boring." Kathryn eyed him suspiciously "you wouldn't" "Why not? I mean it wasn't bad the first time, mind you not as good as fucking you, but then again Annette doesn't have your experience. But who knows maybe with a little practice..." "Are you actually suggesting that the little virgin could be better in bed than me?" Sebastian shrugged enjoying her reaction. He really had no interest in Annette but he knew that Kathryn felt some how threatened by her. He realized this whole thing was some sort of test, but he frankly wasn't in the mood for any of her bullshit. He was going to play his own little game. "Our guest is probably waiting for us. I better get back to her. Get us some drinks, preferably something nonalcoholic." As he walked out of the room he thought he heard Kathryn mutter a curse under her breath. Sebastian walked back into the sitting room where Annette was waiting. She immediately sat up "Sebastian I didn't mean to just show up like this. I just thought maybe we could fix things. I would like to be friends if that's ok." He studied her expression. She seemed so sincere he almost felt bad about using her again. Almost. "Sure Annette I would like that. In fact I think Kathryn had plans for the rest of the night so how about the two of us go have dinner. We can catch up." She smiled "I would like that. Are you sure your sister doesn't want to come?" "Oh yes, she's very busy." Sebastian helped her with her coat as they headed out the door. A couple of minutes later Kathryn came back into the room with the tray of drinks. She looked around the empty room and then put the drinks down. She was heading to Sebastian's room when she heard the familiar sound of a car engine. She went on to the balcony and watched as Annette and Sebastian drove off. "Damn you Sebastian" she muttered. - to be continued |
