Chapter 5: Cecil's Downfall

"She did what?" Kathryn nearly screamed

"Cecil's running for class president" Amy said "Her mother thinks it would be good for her image"

Kathryn wanted to scream. School had started two weeks ago and Cecil had already managed to piss off Kathryn several times. First there was the fact that she was still dating Court and sleeping will Ronald, which meant neither where at Kathryn's disposal. Then Cecil had gotten nominated for Homecoming queen and now this.

"How did you find out about this? Who's running isn't suppose to be announced until next week"

Amy shrugged "Her mother told my mother"

Kathryn rolled her eyes, that made sense she thought. Amy's mother was one of the biggest gossips in New York second only to her daughter. Amy was an idiot but a useful one which is why Kathryn choose to befriend her rather than squash her. "Well there's still time to put an end to this"

"What are you going to do?" Amy asked excitedly.

Kathryn eyed Amy and laughed to herself. There was no way in hell she would tell this nit wit what she was planning. "You'll find out soon enough. I've had it with Cecil. It's time that girl learned her place in this school"

Amy smiled wickedly at Kathryn and she smiled back "Is there anything I can do?"

"Yea, cover for me in English. I have to go take care of something"

"Will do"

Kathryn then left the girls bathroom and headed out into the crowded halls. There was only one person she could think of that could help her destroy Cecil. Now she just had to find him.

Sebastian had been hiding in the library stacks for the past hour. The previous night he had made the mistake of sleeping with Julie Dawson again. Now she believed they were a couple and was trying to hunt his down so she could ask him to homecoming. He had heard she was looking for him so he had ducked into the library. The stacks were one of the best places to hide because they were long and had high walls. Kids usually come here when they wanted to make out, but all Sebastian wanted to do was be invisible. Sebastian was bent down looking for a copy of The Fountain Head when he saw a pair of slinky legs, dressed in knee socks approach him. He was about to turn and run when a familiar voice called out to him "Where the fuck have you been?"

He didn't even have to look up to know who the voice belonged to. He placed his hands on either side of her legs and moved them up her body as he stood. Once he was standing he rested his hands on her waist and looked into his step sisters eyes. "Hey sis, where you looking for me?"

The annoyed expression never left Kathryn's face "yes I've been looking for you for the past half hour. What are you doing in the library? I didn't even think you knew how to read"

Sebastian gave her a fake smile "Oh that's amusing coming form the girl who had to blow the English teacher in order to pass"

She smiled a little bit "I got an A in that class."

"I remember. What do you want?"

Kathryn looked around the stacks "why are you in here?"

"I'm hiding from Julie"

"You're going to have to stop sleeping with them more than once or learn to break up with them better"

Sebastian rolled his eyes "Yea I know. Once again what do you want?"

Kathryn placed her hands on his chest "I need a favor"

"What kind?"

"I need you to help me destroy Cecil"

"Oh that again" he sighed. "What did she do now?"

"She's trying to run for class president"

All of this held little interest for Sebastian. He had already moved on from Cecil and he was wondering when Kathryn was going to do the same. He took a book off the shelf and flipped through it "So, the girls an idiot it's not like she's going to win. You have everyone in this school wrapped around your finger. Why are you worried?"

"Because little Cecil's become quite popular and I want you to help me put an end to it. I can't afford to lose this election. Mother will never let me here the end of it if I do. Do you know any way I could go about ruining her?"

Sebastian never looked up from his book even though he was listening to her intently. "Well I do have this video tape.."

Kathryn's eyes went wide "what's on it?"

"Well let's just say if it got into the wrong hands it could do some damage"

Kathryn smiled seductively up at him "well what would it take for it to get into the wrong hands?"

Sebastian returned the smile and bent down until there lips were almost touching. "How about a kiss?"

"Just a kiss?" She asked a little shocked.

"Well I didn't say where I wanted to kiss you" He then slowly got back down on his knees and lifted her skirt.

Kathryn laughed a little realizing what he wanted to do. "Here? Someone could see"

She smiled up at him "I thought that was the point"

He smiled back and leaned in and kissed her hard on the mouth. She kissed him back then pushed he away. "Now go get that tape"

Sebastian sighed and turned and left. Kathryn quickly pulled him back "oh and I want my panties back"

"Where the fuck is he" Kathryn cursed under her breath.

One of the student council members turned to her and asked "Who?"

"No one" Kathryn hissed back. She then turned away from the group of students who were getting ready to go on stage. Sebastian had called her over a half an hour ago assuring her that he had the video tape and that he would drop it off to her in time for the assembly. Headmaster Hardgrove had arranged an assembly for all the students to get to know the student council members. Since Kathryn was still student body president she was suppose to speak first and after her speech Hardgrove would show a video introducing all the new students to the many clubs and groups at Manchester. But before that Kathryn was planning on switching Hardgroves video with Sebastian's. That was of course if he ever showed up. Leave it to Sebastian to fuck up a perfectly good plan she thought.

Kathryn once again looked at her watch and realized she had to go on in three minutes. She had decided that if Valmont didn't get there in time she would make him pay and he could forget about any reward or any other favors performed by her. She was about to turn and walk away when she noticed a video tape slide through the door. Kathryn quickly snatched it up before anyone else noticed it. Attached to the video was a note that said enjoy. She planned to she thought as she smiled down at her new present.

Kathryn went directly to the abandoned video monitor. She realized she wouldn't have time to view the tape so she would just have to be surprised along with the rest of her classmates and teachers. After switching tapes Kathryn took Hardgroves tape and quickly disposed of it making sure no one saw her in the process. She then headed on stage.

"Good afternoon fellow students and faculty members." Kathryn put on her best phony smile and greeted the crowed. As she talked about the upcoming school year she scanned the audience looking for Sebastian. She doubted he would want to miss what was about to happen. She had noticed Cecil sitting in the second row with a group of her new friends. Cecil smiled up at her and gave her a thumbs up. Kathryn smiled back but silently wished she could tell her to fuck off. She reminded herself that after Cecil was ruined she could treat her anyway she pleased.

Kathryn finally spotted Sebastian just as she was finishing up her speech. He was standing towards the back staring at her with that same superior smile he was always wearing. She concluded her speech with " and I hope you enjoy the video." Kathryn took her seat and smiled over at Sebastian. He gave her a small nod as the lights dimmed.

At first nothing appeared but nobody seemed to notice. Some fuzz then came on the screen and she could hear Hardgrove complaining to one of the technicians who said he would try and fix it. Kathryn stared over at Sebastian who just stared at the screen with that same confident look. She was about to curse him again for screwing up when it happened. Suddenly the video kicked in and it was everything she hoped it would be. Cecil was naked on Sebastian's bed. She was on all fours and Sebastian was giving it to her from behind. Cecil was obviously enjoying herself because she was nearly screaming. Kathryn couldn't help but be amused by Sebastians expression which was pure boredom.

The audience was at first stunned, but then other students started cheering and laughing. Kathryn pretended to be shocked and horrified along with the rest of the adults. She looked over at Cecil who was screaming at them to turn it off while her friends laughed quietly. The room quickly erupted in chaos. Hardgrove was screaming to turn the video off and demanding to know who was responsible for this. The roar from the crowed got louder and Kathryn had to contain a smirk when someone yelled "way to go Valmont!" Kathryn walked over to Hardgrove and promised to figure out who was responsible. She then went back stage and caught a glimpse of Sebastian in the crowed. She gave him a wicked smile.

Sebastian left the headmasters office later that afternoon. It hadn't taken him long to figure out that Sebastian was somehow responsible for the video switch at the assembly. He had thought about denying it when he was called to the office but he really didn't see the point. He knew the headmaster couldn't throw him out of school for it so he admitted he had done it as a joke. When Hardgrove asked if he had any assistance with his little 'joke' he was tempted to tell him about Kathryn's roll in the episode. Sebastian could just picture Hardgroves face when he discovered that his prize pupil was behind the whole thing. But in the end he decided against telling on his step sister if only because the reward would make it all worth it.

So after the headmaster had suspended him for two days and banned him from attending any more assembly's Sebastian headed to the car. The school day had ended over an hour ago so Sebastian was surprised to see that the limo and there driver where still there. "I thought you would of been gone by now" he addressed the driver.

"Ms. Merteuil thought you might be awhile"

"Of course she did." Sebastian thought Kathryn might stick around if only to find out whether or not he told about her part in Cecil's downfall.

The driver opened the door and sure enough Kathryn was waiting for him inside. "About fucking time" she said with a fake smile on her face. "So what happened?"

Sebastian climbed inside and shut the door. "What do you think happened? I got suspended thanks to you"

"Actually Hardgrove wanted to expel you but I talked him out of it. I think a thank you is in order"

Sebastian's mouth fell open "Thank you? Your the reason I got in trouble in the first place. Maybe I should go back and tell him about your little part in all of this"

Kathryn snorted "like he would believe you. Besides don't pretend your not a little happy about all of this. Not only does it further your reputation but now you have a couple of days off school"

"Yes and what happens when Ronald finds out I fucked his girlfriend behind his back. I don't think he'll be to pleased about that."

She shrugged "don't worry about Ronald I'll take care of him"

Sebastian shook his head in amazement "you really have thought of everything haven't you?"

"Yes, now lets not fight. I hate it when your angry at me" she said pouting a little. Kathryn leaned over and kissed his neck. "Don't you want your reward?"

"Of course" he whispered as he felt her hands go down to his zipper. She opened his pants and slid her hand inside. She quickly began to massage him until he was painfully hard. "What are you going to do?"

"Don't think" he ordered and pulled her into a kiss. She kissed him back and then the car stopped and they could hear the driver approaching.

Kathryn pulled away "where home. We'll finish later, maybe." She then smiled and walked to the front door. Sebastian quickly followed and called out "what do you mean maybe?"

They walked into the house and before she could answer they where both stopped by the sight of there parents talking with Mrs. Caldwell. None of them looked happy especially his father. "Sebastian we have to talk"
