Something Different by: Kerimack Summary: Sebastian plans a trip with Kathryn, Court, and Annette. Rating: NC-17 Chapter 10: Sebastian's Plan "So you think this plan our yours is going to work?" Blain asked giving Sebastian a skeptical look. "Yes, it's fool proof" "I don't know Valmont, it seems pretty iffy." Sebastian sighed and rolled his eyes as he jumped off of Blain's couch. He wasn't sure why exactly he had confided in Blain that afternoon. He had come over to score some weed and a case of rare cigars and the conversation had inevitably turned to Kathryn. Blain was good friends with Kathryn and one of the only people who knew about the close relationship Sebastian shared with his step sister. For whatever reason Blain often found the trials and tribulations of the Valmont siblings interesting and always insisted on being updated. Valmont had decided to indulge him and told him how he has planning on breaking up Kathryn and Court. He didn't think Blain would object because he hated Court for his homophobic attitude and besides he always enjoyed a little scandal. What Sebastian didn't count on was his skepticism. "OK which part do you think won't work?" "Well for one thing what makes you think Kathryn will agree to this little trip you have planned? I mean I can't exactly see her agreeing to spend her winter break with you and Annette at your Aunts estate." "Court will be there too. Besides I don't plan on giving her any other options." Blain laughed "oh your going to blackmail her into coming. Yeah that should drive her right into your arms." Sebastian lit up a cigarette and inhaled "I'm not going to blackmail her exactly, besides getting her there won't be the tricky part. Making sure Court goes for the bait will be the challenge." "He will. I don't see Court turning down pussy anytime soon." Sebastian snickered "that's true." Blain pulled himself away from his weed for a second and turned towards Valmont "you know you could just avoid all this trouble and just tell Kathryn the truth." "What would that be?" "That your in love with her. You always have been and you always will be." Sebastian stared at him hard for a second "I think you need to stop smoking that stuff." Blain rolled his eyes "Christ Valmont for an intellectual you are really fucking stupid. I know you love her, your just too stubborn to admit to it." Now cut the love shit or I'm leaving." Blain lifted his hands up in resistance "ok, ok, forget I said anything. I do have one question though." Letting out an annoyed sigh Sebastian asked "what?" "Why are you bringing the headmasters daughter along? I thought you already conquered that territory." "I have. Annette is my little insurance policy in case things don't go off as planned. "I've mapped out everything, nothing can go wrong." "And yet I still see the whole thing blowing up in your face." * * * * * * A short time later Sebastian returned home and headed to his room. He planned on relaxing and enjoying his new purchases he got from Blain, when he saw Court exiting Kathryn's room. He was still buttoning up his shirt and Sebastian could figure out what they had been doing. He decided to take this opportunity to implement the first part of his plan. "Hey Court just the guy I was looking for." Court looked up at Sebastian from what he was doing "how can I help you Valmont?" "What are your plans for winter break?" "Um nothing so far, why?" Sebastian put on his best phony smile "well, my Aunt has left me the keys to her estate while she's away. I'm going down with Annette and I thought you and Kathryn might like to come along with us. Where suppose to get snow so you can ski or snow board or whatever. It should be fun." "You want me and Kathryn to come along? How come?" "Well Kathryn's my sister and I just don't get to spend a lot of time with her. Besides I told my parents I would look after her while they were away. Come on what do you say? I know Kathryn would want to come." Court seemed to think it over for a second before nodding "Sure sounds like fun. When do we leave?" "Leave for where?" Kathryn walked out of her room in barely a slip. "Your brother just invited us to his aunts home for winter break. I told him we'd go." "Did you?" She asked icily. "We leave Friday afternoon around two" Sebastian told him. "Sounds good. I'll see you later babe" he leaned down and kissed Kathryn who was staring at Sebastian. "Thanks a lot Valmont" "Sure thing" Sebastian watched him and gave Kathryn a smile as he walked passed her into his room. He knew she would follow just as quickly. "What the fuck was that all about?" Sebastian threw his things on his desk and turned to face Kathryn "I invited you guys to come with me and Annette to my aunts home for winter break. I thought you'd be pleased?" Sebastian knew she was going to explode all he had to do was sit back and watch. With her hands on her hips Kathryn glared angrily at her stepbrother "you knew damn well I wouldn't be pleased and would never agree to go. I'm not spending my winter break trapped in your aunts house, watching you and Annette play house. No way!" Sebastian smiled smugly "well I don't think you have a lot of choice in the matter. Court already agreed and I know you would hate to disappoint him." Kathryn smiled "well I'll just have to convince him otherwise now won't I?" She started out the door and Sebastian quickly stood in front of her "wait don't go." She eyed him suspiciously "why not? What are you up to Sebastian?" "Nothing" he replied softly as he gently brushed her hair "I just want to spend some time with you." "Un huh. Your planning something I know it. You mine as well tell me before I-" Sebastian cut her off with a kiss before she could finish her sentence. He kissed her passionately and tried to pull her toward his bed. She kissed him back but wouldn't move. Kathryn pulled away form his embrace a minute later "it won't work. I'm not one of those dip shit debutantes that you can seduce into doing whatever you want remember?" He watched her as she walked to his desk and examined the box of cigars. Sebastian came up behind her and kissed her neck "I know your not baby, I just wanted to apologize." "Sure you did" she sighed. Sebastian let his hand wander up her silky thigh "what were you doing with Court?" "What do you think?" He slid his hand up further on her leg and realized she wasn't wearing any underwear. "Did he make you come?" Kathryn gasped when she felt Sebastian's warm hand on her ass. "No" she replied breathlessly. Courts voice echoed through the huge house. Kathryn rolled her eyes at her boyfriends outburst. She knew Court was already a little drunk. He had been sampling the bar in the limo on the drive down there. "Court, baby why don't you go pick out a room" Kathryn told him harshly. "Sounds like a plan. And later you and me are trying out the hot tub." He grabbed Kathryn and kissed her hard on the mouth. She could taste the alcohol on his breath. He then grabbed the suitcases and headed upstairs yelling "yahoo! This is gonna rock!" Kathryn rolled her eyes again and turned towards Annette and Sebastian. Her brother had an amused expression on his face. She glared coldly at him. This was all his fault. Why the hell had she agreed to come on this little nightmare of a vacation? If dealing with a drunk boyfriend wasn't bad enough she would also have to but up with seeing Annette and Sebastian together wherever she went. Because of the weather Sebastian didn't want to take his car to his aunt's so he had insisted that they all drive down together. Sebastian and Annette were huddled in conversation the whole way down and Court kept trying to paw Kathryn in front of everyone. She wasn't sure how she was going to get through this trip without killing anyone. "Well he certainly seems enthusiastic" Sebastian told her. "Doesn't he?" Kathryn and Sebastian glared at each other for a second before Annette interrupted "are you sure your aunt doesn't mind us using her house?" Sebastian smiled "of course not. Why do you think she gave me the keys?" "Yes, how did you manage that Sebastian? I seem to remember her being quite upset the last time you decided to take over her house. I believe her exact words were never again." Sebastian gave Kathryn a strained smile "well I have her permission. How I got it is not important." "What happened the last time?" He turned his attention back to Annette "nothing important. Kathryn just likes to make a bigger deal out of things." "You flooded the entire downstairs!" "And everything got fixed!" Kathryn smiled at Sebastian's frustration with her. She so did enjoy making him lose his cool. "Well as long as everything worked out" Annette said softly. "It did. Now I'm going to go put our things in the rooms. Annette your room will be right down the hall from mine." "Where will mine be?" Kathryn asked with a sweet smile. "Wherever frat boy decides to chuck your stuff" he replied nastily. Annette completely unaware of the tension between the step siblings said "I'll be up in a minute. I want to look around a little more. This place looks just like it did last summer." "Ok" Sebastian leaned down and gave Annette a soft kiss on the lips. He pulled away and when Annette's back was turned made a rude gesture to Kathryn. She gave him a dirty look and walked into the other room. "This place is so lovely" Annette said as she joined Kathryn in the next room. "Yes, it must bring back a lot of memories of last summer here with Sebastian." "It does" Kathryn was trying to find the most delicate way to bring up Sebastian and Annette's relationship without her suspecting why she was so interested. "So things are going well between you and Sebastian?" "Yeah better than I could've hoped" "That's nice. So you two are officially back together now?" "Yeah I think this trip sealed it. Oh Kathryn I'm really crazy about your brother" Yeah, crazy being the operative word. "I can see that. But can I give you a little advice?" "Sure" "Watch yourself around Sebastian. He's cute and he's charming but as his reputation will attest, looks can be deceiving." Annette looked slightly taken aback by Kathryn's warning "I know about his reputation, but I really think he's changed." What a fucking idiot! Guys like Sebastian don't change. "I hope your right." "Yes me and Sebastian are going to be perfectly happy together, you'll see." * * * * * * Later that afternoon after he had finished helping Annette settle in, Sebastian went to Kathryn's room. He had told Court to put her things in the room directly opposite his. Court had been so out of it he hadn't thought to question Sebastian's motives. He opened her door slowly and found her sitting at her vanity table snorting a line of coke. "Powdering our nose are we?" Kathryn lifted her head and stared at him in the mirror "do you ever knock?" "What's the point?" He collapsed on to Kathryn's large bed. "You better watch it with that stuff." Kathryn snickered "what is this concern?" "I'm just saying it would be quite unbecoming if the student body president overdosed. I mean what would our parents say?" "Who gives a shit? There's no way in hell I'm getting through this little weekend trip from hell without this stuff, so back off." "Fair enough" he replied even though it still bothered him. Kathryn had taken coke for as long as he had known her and he never said anything even though it bothered him sometimes. He was afraid one of these days she would take to much and get herself killed. He brushed the thought aside assuring himself that Kathryn could take care of herself. Kathryn got up from her seat "What are you doing in here? Shouldn't you be tending to goldilocks?" "I rather tend to you" he grabbed her hand and pulled her down on top of him. They began kissing and mauling each other. We are above it." "People like you and me?" "Yes dear sister you and me. In case you haven't noticed we are two of a kind." He walked over to her and put his hands on her face forcing her to look up at him. "There will never be anyone for you better than me. We were made for each other." Sebastian leaned in and kissed her on the mouth. Kathryn pushed him away and wiped off her mouth "God you are seriously fucked! We are nothing alike." He laughed once again at her "right." "Get out! Get the fuck out before I..I.." "Before you what? Tell your drunk boy toy?" Kathryn smiled coldly "Before I tell Annette how your trying to take advantage of me. Now get out." Sebastian gave her one more long stare before exiting "this isn't over." He walked out of the room and as he closed the door he could hear the sound of glass breaking behind him. He smiled to himself, no this was far from over. He wasn't about to give up on Kathryn because she deluded herself into thinking she was in love. No, now he would just have to speed up his plans. As he was walking down the hallway he spotted one of the maids coming out of a bedroom. She must have been new because Sebastian had never seen her before. She was beautiful with long blond hair and blue eyes. She was perfect for what he had planned. He walked up to her with his most charming smile and asked "are you new?" "Yes sir, I just started last month." "Oh that's nice. I'm Sebastian Valmont, Mrs. Rosemond is my aunt." "I know sir. Is there something I could help you with?"
