York District } Personally appeared John Mursh & made
oath that he knows of his own personal
knowledge that Elizabeth Mursh was the lawful wife of
Robert Mursh deceased, he further states that he was
present at the marriage of Robert & Elizabeth Mursh and
that said marriage, took place in the year 1796 or 1797
He further states that Robert Mursh was an Indian
and that he & Elizabeth Mursh had lived together as
man and wife (according to the custom of the Indians)
for twelve years previous to their marriage in 96 or 97
