I am also an experienced photographer. It is a great hobby of mine that has turned into a helpful skill when designing some works. These are images I have done for different clients and highlight different photography and techniques I can do such as black and white, selective color, saturation, portrait, and still life. I have found it’s easier to create your photographs when doing specific works instead of finding stock photography that could have been used by anyone.
Radiolab out of New York City asked to design a poster for one of their program episodes called “The Bad Show.” The episode discussed why people do bad things and also people doing bad things in the name of good. The subjects I chose for the poster are examples they talked about in the show and also people throughout history who did bad things for what they thought were for ultimately the greater good. The subjects on my poster are not subjects one would normally associate together as being bad such as religion, Hitler, the American flag, and Charles Manson. The goal was to either get the viewer intrigued or angry so that they would tune into the show to learn more or defend their own opinion.
