HELLO PhenylAde Amino Acid Blend!!! How cool is this stuff?????? If you are like me and are looking for a formula with not a lot of calories, then you may want to concider this one. There are only 42 Calories per scoop and 10g of protein per scoop for the Amino Acid Blend. And you can mix it is almost any liquid or even food! The only thing is that it is ONLY amino acids, so it is not a complete formula. If you are interested in this formula go to my PKU links page and click on Applied Nutrition to get more information on this formula and their others! You can talk with your PKU doctor to see if this formula is right for you, they can also get you samples, but make sure you talk to your doctor first before ordering any new formula! |

Strawberry PhenylAde DrinkMix, another yummy tasting formula. If you are tied of formulas with no taste, this and several of the other PhenylAde Drink Mixes from Applied Nutrition could be your answer. Strawberry tastes, well, like a strawberry shake. There is also Vanilla, and Orange Cream, and Applied Nutrition is coming out with a new flavor, but I am not at liberty to talk about it since it is not on the market yet, but keep your eyes peeled for it. The PhenylAde Drink Mix formulas are complete formulas, meaning they give you amino acids as well as tons of vitamin and minerals, and other nutrients. It is higher in calories, but that could be a good thing for those of you doing maternal PKU and need more calories. There are 410 calories per 100g of powder, and 25g of protein per 100g powder. If you want to try these formulas, again talk with your doctor, and they can get you samples! And enjoy them, Mmmmmmm!!! |
