Sleeping should be done on the left side only.  It helps if you have a body pillow (4 feet long) and place it under your breasts, belly, and between your legs; $12 at K-Mart or JC Penney.  It takes a lot of stress off your body.  My bedroom is very simple.  I have a bed, dresser, and a small table which is basiclly clear from clutter ( holds a TV and alarm clock).  I don't have a rug and my closet is alwasy closed.  This is because I'm also allergic to dust (among a million other things) and can't take anything for it durring pregnancy.  A humidifier in the winter helps keep your throat moistened at night.  If you plan on exercising durring your pregnancy, you will have a much easier labor because your muscles will be easier to use; I CANNOT STRESS THE IMPORTANCE OF LIGHT EXERCISE DURING PREGNANCY ENOUGH!!!  Make sure to keep your heart rate below 120 beats/minute.  My mother-in-law bought a pregnancy work out tape for me that I loced.  In general, each woman is going to have a different pregnancy, labor and dilivery.  Not to mention, each pregnancy for an individual woman will be different.  My first pregnancy, I couldn't stand the smell of the mention of peanut butter or tuna fish.  The second, I couldn't stand tator tots-excuse me while I gag!  My daughter, Chiara Lynn, is perfect...ten fingers, ten toes, very intelligent and she's not PKU.  My son, Christopher Carlo Jr., is perfect as well and no PKU...and so much easier than a girl!  It is very possible to have a perfect as was a normal baby if you follow your diet and other restrictions put forth by your doctors.  I cannot answer all questions you have in one general report, so I encourage you to eamil me with any additional questions you may have.  I look forword to hearing from YOU.
