| When yer a kid they fill yer head with all this stuff about how violence is wrong, and how we should love everyone. By second grade they start teaching you about the horrible things in the world, but at this point war is still wrong, and you still aren't supposed to hit back. they show you pictures of starving naked people on their way to the gas chambers, and the dying children of Ethiopia. they tell you to grow up and make it all better, but not too quickly. They make you share toys. at puberty sharing becomes a threat to national security, war becomes a necessary evil, and revenge is ok , but not encouraged. people like george w bush and ariel sharon get nominated for nobel peace prizes for facilitating wars. fuck that. fuck all of that. |
