This online zine was created by me, BJ Garcia. I decided to make this site for local bands. I've been wanting to do this for some time now. How my love for local music began, well plan and simple, I'm sick of main stream bullshit bands on MTV, KISS radio and all the mainstream bands out there. Started going to local shows at *cough* I wont say but,I knew that this was what I wanted to be around. I didnt want to be in a band but I wanted to be in the scene. And what better way, promote and start a zine. And well here we are. I know I mentioned earlier that I'm trying to keep this site metal. This is true, I love metal want to show ppl that Texas isnt all about the rednecks and cowboys. Theres a reason why San Antonio is the Metal Capital, lets try to keep it that way. But I've met so many bands out there that I cant just post metal bands here on my zine. There are many metal, rock, punk, rockabilly, acoustic, (I can go on and on) that i have met. Why not? I am a fan of local bands so fuck it. This is my damn website anyways. I dont know if this site will become as big as Robbs Metal Works or SA Music Scene but I sure do want to try.
