Ok, So I updated my website. Things are looking a little better on here so check out the new links. Also this weekend was a bad ass weekend. Shows here and there, hanging with friends, and oh how can I leave out the beers! whoo hung over like hell!
On to business, Kin Of Cain has asked me a few times already to manage them. I declined because I know I can not be there 100%, and I really want to Put a lot into Stimple. Which is a great fuckn band who has supported me during everything that has happened for the year or so Ive been managing. But after thinking about it for awhile, I decided to accept the request of Kin Of Cain and become their manager. I am excited and flattered that they have decided to involve me into their world. Much appreciated! Things will not change for Stimple, I will still be there kicking some major ass with them and we will continue to bring them to bigger and better things, just now the guys have a few more nut bags on their side! Hey there, been awhile. Ive been really busy doing a lot of shows and projects now days. That I have not updated the site in forever. Ok, since April... which is forever lol. So let me just start by saying that I'm having a blast right now. I have a few shows coming up I'm really excited about. I've been doing a lot of video work for a lot of bands lately. Im adding a new section to my website to promote my shows. I will be in the "review" section. That way i can have a separate link for that specifically. Alright, so Ive been a little M.I.A. on here. But thats because I was busy doing shows. For awhile there I was actually booking shows. But Ive decided to stop for a little while. I'm gonna be updating my site and playing catch up. So with that being said, I have two new interviews on my page. One from Ruined Faith and the other from Last Battle. NOTE: this isn't for just one person; this is for EVERYONE in the music scene that rips bands off!
I am fukin sick and tired of hearing "I'm doing it for the bands not the money" and as soon as the cash comes rollin in...You see the fangs come out of them like blood thirsty vampires. Actually...you assholes make vampires look bad...they aint even that greedy! But ya have no shame for what ya do. This is meant for those fukin Managers, bookers, clubs, bars, friends, door guys ect that fuk bands over. You know what, if it wasn't for the bands that you rip off you fukers wouldn't have a fukin job! No wait I am sorry....can you say Mc Donalds?? You wouldn't have a fukin job if it wasn't for their talents! And the bands take it because they have to. Bullshit!
I can honestly say I aint in it for the fukin money! Because ive been doing this for fukin years and I have NEVER EVER asked a band for money for anything I do! Yea ive gotten into a show a few times for free when I am seriously broke and they want me to go to a show. Other than that I don't ask for shit! Not even the bands I am managing I told them "I don't want any money from this" and they said well when we start bringing in good money we will give you something" I said "hey if you want, but I aint in this for the money" you know what I want...RESPECT! My name to be out there and remembered for the good shit I do and the bad attitude I give! No one will EVER say I was as greedy and money hungry as Rick. Yes I said it...I said what everyone was thinking and whispering......Rick fuked over a lot of bands and that's why there was a lot of bands that didn't care he passed away. Now, I aint saying I hated the guy personally....just saying I hated his business methods.
You know I take pic and vids of bands because I love to hear "wow the pics came out nice, thanks a lot for the support" stuff like that. They have asked to pay me for vids and pics and I told them no. I had a band from Austin say they wanted to pay me for taking pics of them. Ummmm NO. I am doing this for the bands that cant afford to get pics taking for them, cant afford to get vids of them done. Sure my shit aint all that�.but damn I do nice pics for FREE. I don't ask for shit but "thanks Corrupted Lyrics" and that makes me feel fukin GREAT! I will never ask for money. I haven't yet and ive been doing this for awhile and supporting bands for years. Why start now? Get the fuk out of here.
Then I hear that prices to play at shows are going up, and club owners and being dicks�.ugh I sooo fukin wish I could own my own bar/club. It takes a lot of money but damn I wouldn't be like all these other fukers out there. Fuk they really should be ashamed of themselves�.no wait�..some of ya are reading this�.YOU ALL SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF FOR TAKING ADVANTAG OF BAND TALENT JUST BECAUSE YOU DON'T HAVE ANY!
So go ahead bring it on....fukin whatever! Everyone could probably agree!

Ok, Time for the updates. Well, Ive been busy getting my show together. on the 29th, at The Underground, 512 Roosevelt Ave. Its my first show and i am going to have alot of awesome bands playing, free jello shots, tattoo and piercings giveaways, and more stuff. yea its gonna be fun.
My new shirts. Thats right, my friend Aaron (The Goregrowler)submitted art work and won the contest. Its awesome. I'll post new pics of that on here as well. shirts are $10 for the older C.L. version as well as these. Hope ya like.
Well, Iam now the manager of two bands. Stimple and Mind Of Absence. And supporting/promoting Innervoid. Its been a blast working with them, and I can see great things happening from here on out. Ive also met alot of awesome bands through out the years. But i have to say late 2006 and so far 2007 is the best! Theres alot of talent out there, and i hate to see bands get screwed over. And I think theres alot of bands out there that enjoy working with me because they know i am doing all this for the local scene and not the money. Trust!

Ok, well i have been MIA of this site for sometime now. But its just cause Ive been really busy as hell. Alot of great things have happened since. So here we go... Frist, I was asked to be a jusge by Juan from San Antonio Productions. It was taking place at Bonds 007. Great show, awesome bands. It indeed was a great night. Americult won that battle.
Then I was asked to be the judge for the San Antonio Productions Spring Break battle of the bands. That was so fukin awesome i loved it. I met so many cool people and drank alot! lol The bands were fukin amazing and it was a great experience. Falling For Days won that battle, followed by NonXisence.
I'm promoting/supporting a great talented band called Innervoid. They are awesome, you guys need to check them out. I am just glad I get to be around such great people.
Then I got asked to become a manager to a band called Stimple. Those guys are freakin cool as hell. great people I cant wait to start working with. their first show is June 16th. more info on that later.
I got to see a band called FaceCage a few months back. And those guys left a awesome impression on me. I was just amazed. I asked if I could do an interview with them. and they agreed. So i am excited about this.
So, today I got offered to write in another metal zine called Beyond The Dark Horizon. She asked if i wanted to have my own colum, but i think just being involved in a small part would be great for right now. Later if i feel comfortable, then i guess i will take that offer on the colum. :) So, check it out sometime. www.beyondthedarkhorizon.com

Ok, just a little update. My t-shirt for Corrupted Lyrics are here. they came out great and look great! I am very happy with the way they came out. Ok, I have alot of stuff I am adding to my site right now. Things have been crazy, but I am coming back! I have pics, interviews, and alot of cool shit going on that I will be posting ASAP!
Also, I am going to Austin this summer June 30, July 1, and maybe July 2, for a metal fest at REDRUM Club, Weekend passes are sold at the door for $15 for two day passes and $25 for three day passes. Hey, Theres a huge metal fest in Austin coming up. They have fuckin badass bands that are going to be there. When I find out more info I will post it here. Also I will be one of the vendors there. Ive been working on new interviews for CL. One interview I am working on is from a band called Fuck The Mainstream. I will be posting it soon. So be on the look out for that. They also will be playing here in San Antonio on Dec 11, at Atomix. So be there to check them out.

Ok, so I was slacking on my website. But I am back! I also lost alot of my information I had for my CL on my old files. But I am working on getting everyhing back. That includes interview I did and pictures I had. I will be doing interviews over and getting all my info up and going. So look for that.
