| Hello, I'm Corrie, an Art and Visual Technologies major with a concentration in painting at George Mason University in Virginia, USA. I speak a little bit of Mandarin Chinese and can't understand why people say it's hard to learn. They say the tones make it difficult, but I think they're musical. Romance (latin-based) languages are so boring, IMHO. The calligraphic characters are *very* difficult for me, but maybe not as much as they could be because I learn easier through visual images. I love: - Reading fantasy fiction - Singing - Contemporary Christian music - Painting! - Interior design I've put a list of some of my favorite books here. I'm a second sophrano and have been accused of splitting eardrums (hehe, fun). My current favorite CCM artist is Michelle Tumes, she sings in a slightly Celtic style with incredible harmonies and a voice to match. Check out her song, "Untame Lion", it is so beautiful and I put the lyrics up here. I finally figured out how to upload files so my computer will let me, so pics of my painted work are here. I know I should probably stick with one webpage design to be less confusing, but it's so much fun! I apologize for the inconvenience anyway. :) - Corrie |
