9. Enlarge bunched up designs to fix them!
Once you have manually set the stitches on that lovely design of yours and you rush to the 1630, sew it out only to find that whole thing turned out an unholy @#$%&**!ofknots,bunched-upblobsandcrazyswirls ... breathe in.... breathe out.... and DON'T delete it... rather go to Pattern, Change Pattern Size, and enlarge it twice (i.e. go to Pattern twice, yip, enlarge it twice and sew out again.... many of my "brilliant" designs live only because I did that - technically it means that you have set your stitches too close together. Oh yes, do NOT tick the "insert stitches" option when enlarging!
