| Encor |
| ENCOR is a summer follow-up retreat to the COR Retreat itself. ENCOR does not have a fixed theme or schedule to follow as the COR Retreat does. ENCOR is planned each year by volunteer members (youths and adults) of the COR family. For those who wish to prepare for leadership roles in the COR program (such as "Teen Team"), ENCOR is considered a crucial training step. ENCOR offers a moment in the middle of the summer to gather with dear friends, relax, enjoy nature, and revamp one's faith in God and commitment to the Body of Christ, the Church. Any young person or adult who has experienced a COR retreat weekend is eligible and invited to the annual ENCOR retreat. ENCOR is a 24 hour retreat. It normally begins at 7:00 PM on Saturday evening and ends at 7:00 PM on a Sunday evening. ENCOR is held at the St. Leonard Youth Retreat Center's grounds in Avon, Ohio. It is strictly and outdoor event. Parcipants sleep in tents on the "island", gather under the Pavilion, and cook their meals on outdoor grills. In order to cover expenses, a small fee (usually $15.00) is charged to partcipants. ENCOR Registration Forms and other important new are available on this site. |
