Love Came Down At Christmas

Love came down at Christmas,
Love all lovely, Love Divine;
Love was born at Christmas,
Star and angels gave the sign.

Worship we the Godhead,
Love Incarnate, Love Divine;
Worship we our Jesus,
But wherewith for sacred sign?

Love shall be our token,
Love be yours and love be mine,
Love to God and all men,
Love for plea and gift and sign.

Our Heavenly Father sending His Son down for us - this is love. 1 John 4:8 tells us God is love and Matthew 1:23 verifies that God put on flesh and dwelt among us. What an Awesome God we serve - pouring out love, mercy and grace beyond our comprehension. Let us give thanks with grateful hearts, give Him praise for He alone is worthy.
