THANK YOU, LORD

Thank you for the bountiful rain
and Your covenant bow above,
The grass and the trees,
the flowers and bees,
sing their praises of your love.
Before the rains came,
there was much pain,
with trees dying, grass and flowers all gone.
But You showed mercy and answered our prayers
and now Your creation sing You their song.
May our hearts give praise,
as to You our hands raise,
to give You glory and honor You're due.
And may we never forget,
that it's you who set,
His bow in the heavens above.
For it was You who came,
and bore our shame,
and gave Your life all because of love.
