I was blessed to attend our Woman's Retreat this past weekend entitled The Master's Touch from the Scripture Isaiah 64:8. What a wonderful time of spiritual healing and/or renewal for all who attended. What a blessing it was for me to be able to attend and be one of the pieces' the Master worked on healing and renewing my individual needs that I may become a noble vessel for His use. The following poem was inspired during my quiet time there - I take no credit at all for these words, all glory must go to God. I pray it encourages you in His special way.
Have a wonderful day in the Lord,
April
The Master's Piece
As the clay is readied and still,
the Potter sees it according to His will.
Minerals are needed in the readied clay,
iron and salt He places on His tray.
As the Potter's wheel reaches it's proper speed,
He looks at the clay, which is in much need.
The Master lifts His skillful hands,
carefully, gently He begins forming the bands.
As the clay spins under His great care,
He watches closely to see His creation doesn't tear.
Should the creation begin to spoil,
the Master Potter will have to create turmoil.
For the clay must be perfected if to be of noble use,
so the Master watches carefully for anything obtruce.
The minerals which were added will bring much needed strength
and life,
helping the clay masterpiece bear up under everyday trials and
strife.
When His creation is completed and the work is all done,
it will serve a noble purpose for His beloved Son.
