From: John & April Correia Subject: Encouragement From The Heart - December 22, 1998 Date: Monday, December 21, 1998 22:20 PM At Children's Christmas play's we don't focus on errors or missed lines but rather the hearts, the bright shinning faces glowing with excitement. The beaming big smiles because of the applause and the standing ovation showing our approval at their attempt to please us; which they do, immensely. Our heavenly Father sees us much the same way. The other day I was talking with a couple people from our worship team and our leader gave this neat analogy: we can't begin to fathom heavens angelic music. We only know earthly music. It's when we get to heaven we'll learn to play heavens music. I can imagine our heavenly Father looking upon us, His children, in much the same way we look upon ours. When my granddaughter plinks away on the piano or comes up and makes her cute funny faces at me it brings me great joy because I know she does it to please me. Our Father is pleased when we set out to please Him - whether it be by the giving of our time, our treasure or using our gifts He's given us. Jesus said, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven." (Mt. 19:14) Let us become as little children running to our Lord desiring to please Him with our time, treasures and talents - using them the way He has created us to use them, from our mothers womb (Ps. 139: 13-16). Ask, and He will give you direction. Seek, and you will find His perfect will. Knock, and the door will open for you. And when we get to heaven - we will be perfected. by April Correia ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ The above message is sent to you as a ministry of encouragement.
