From: John & April Correia Subject: Encouragement From The Heart - February 1, 1999 Date: Sunday, January 31, 1999 20:54 PM HIS POWER My Eyes are in the dust again, My tears making muddy streaks down my face. My hands are cut, My arms are sore. My knees are scratched, My feet are bleeding. I try to lift, but fall against the rough stones. I try to continue, I try to walk, but I cannot stand. The urge to quit, to try something else grows within my heart. Then appears a single nail-scarred hand, a kind face that encourages me. By His power I am lifted, by His strength I am on my feet. Each step I take on wobbly legs depends on Him. Though the rocks are still there, and my feet are still cut, I rejoice as I rest on His strength, and wait for the day the path will come to an end. By Chris Roedocker, 17 Thank you Lord, that though the rocks are still there, and our feet are still cut, we can rejoice as we rest in Your strength! What an awesome God we serve!!
