"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."  1 John 1:9

I am so thankful for the Lord's faithfulness and willingness to forgive us of sin, when we see it and confess it to Him.

Now I come before you seeking your forgivingness.  Because of my sin of unforgiveness I delivered to you, for the last couple months, devotions that were not of the caliber that the Lord has placed on my heart.

I had been struggling in my spiritual walk for the last couple months, each day got tougher, I got to the point where I wasn't wanting to pray (very unordinary for me), do my bible studies, I was even beginning to dread going to church (I was withdrawing from people).  This really began to bother me because I didn't understand what was happening nor why.  Then a couple weeks ago a dear sister's husband came up to me and ask, "April, are you alright?"  to which I responded, "yeah." He went on, "You know we love you."  His sincerity was genuine and my heart was pierced, "Oh Lord, whatever is wrong with me is beginning to be obvious, help me!  What have I done, why am I being like this?"  That night I spent quite a while with the Father and as I sat quietly before Him and His word, He revealed to me my unforgiving heart toward a fellow saint.  That night the Lord helped me to sincerely forgive the person and the oppression lifted.  I saw the saint a couple days later and my love for them was truly restored; God is sooo good!

I also come before you seeking your prayer support.  A couple specific requests are for our discernment to be sharpened and for the Lord's continued guidance regarding Encouragement From The Heart, and another project He has recently laid on my heart; it has to do with going into Nursing Homes and ministering to the elderly through, fellowship and music.

If you are struggling at this time and don't understand why.  Please, I urge you, beloved, go to the Father and ask Him.  Be still before Him and listen to what He has to say through His word; the Psalms are a great place to start.  Then once He reveals your sin to you, confess it and He will cleanse you from all your unrighteousness.  And what a fresh clean feeling it is!

Have a joyous day in our Lord!
April
