"Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?"
Matt. 6:27

Have you ever had a situation where something you where doing for the Lord wasn't going the way you thought it should?  You stopped and prayed about it lifting a sincere cry for help to the Lord - only to turn around moments later and "force" the situation or event to happen your way?

Precious one, this is sin.   It is caused from worry, which blocks our blessings from the Father.  A famous teacher recently said that "where worry starts faith ends".

It is at times such as these that we must resist the devil and draw near to God (James 4:7,8)  Look back and see where He's carried you through.  Thank Him and praise Him for all He has done and all He will do.  And resist the temptation to "force" the situation your way because, beloved, when you cause things to happen you're way- you're climbing up onto your Abba Fathers throne and acting in His behalf; which doesn't amuse or please Him in the slightest.

A wonderful little song I like to sing comes from Proverbs 3:5, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart lean not on your own understanding."  In all of your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your path straight.  Don't worry about tomorrow, He's got it under control, just trust in the Lord with all your heart and He will carry you through.  Notice that the Proverb says, "Trust in the Lord and lean not on our own understanding"  we must keep this in the front of our minds, and I'm talking to myself here, for God's ways are not our ways. When we desire to do things HIS way and allow Him the opportunity, He will see us through.  Just trust Him and see.
