I Long To Be True

Search me Lord and remove from me,
anything against your precious Word.
For a broken spirit and a contrite heart,
You will not despise and it will be heard.

Lord, I long to do Your will in my life,
my straying heart causes me strife.
For I do the things You don't want me to do,
but to You, oh Lord, I long to be true.  

My body, soul and mind are Yours,
I think of Your voice as I hear the river roars.
Make me, mold me, do all You will,
for here I stand ready and still.  

Grant me boldness for what You've given me to do,
For by nature I'm timid, but to You I desire to be true.
You are my strength and it's through You I can do any thing,
grant me volume as You give us utterance to sing.

Holy is our Almighty God, He who was slain,
Let all the earth rejoice at the sound of His name.
Hallelujah, our Lord God, The Almighty reigns!
to You, Awesome God, all Your creation sings.
