Today is your birthday (4/12/99)
We've had ups and downs in life, for a season even strife.
Through it all God was there, I've watched Him hold your hand
with care.
When I was young, my teenage years, I thought you had way to many
fears.
As I grown older I've noticed something new, you're pretty wise
and know alot of things too!
When I had given over to my flesh and strayed, you where faithful
and diligently prayed.
Our God is faithful and thus here we are now, standing in awe of
the work He has done, I say, "Wow!"
Who'd of thought we'd live side by side, Jesus as the focus, not
someone we hide.
He's shown Himself mightily throughout your life, He healed our
time of broken hearts and strife.
He's given me the words to share with you today, through this
poem which comes to you my special way.
May the Lord continue to grant you His wisdom, that He alone can
give,
And to Him may you remain faithful, your life for Him to live.
Today is your birthday, there's special blessings out there,
God knows you are a gift to me, so precious and so rare.
Happy Birthday, to my most favorite Mother,
for in this big old world, like you there is no other!
