"O God, You are more awesome than
Your holy places. The God of Israel is He who gives strength and power to
His people. Blessed be God!" Psalm 68:35
I received an e-mail titled "Natural Highs". Following is a
sample of the lists contents.
* Falling in love.
* Laughing so hard your face hurts.
* A hot
shower.
* No lines at the Super Walmart.
* Hugging the person you
love.
* Watching the expression on someone's face as they open a much-desired
present
from you.
* Watching the sunrise.
* Getting out of bed
every morning and thanking God for another beautiful day.
This is a nice list with nice "warm fuzzies" but the Holy Spirit spoke to
my heart and I just had to reply with several additions to this list (I've
added a few more since):
+ looking at the consolations knowing that an Awesome God created them
then created man and breathed life
into him.
+ the sovereignty of the LORD; it is He who controls
everything in the Universe He created.
+ the love of God; He laid down His life, that we might live.
+ Joy of Jesus Crusades (lots of love, sharing of the Truth and free food
from Jesus)
+ the opportunity to witness the Holy Spirit soften a hard heart, and
watch that person surrender their life
to the Lord Jesus.
+ personal quality time with my Lord; as I seek daily guidance.
+ the
smell of obedience as I enter into God's will.
+ the peace that engulfs me
as I take that step of faith.
+ singing love songs to Jesus, on Monday -
Saturday
+ the Lord allowing me to be John's wife, Angel's mom and Oma to Leah and
Michael (warm fuzzy :>)
To me these are not only "Natural Highs", they are unfailing
truth.
O God, You are truly more awesome than anything, Your glory covers all the
earth. Blessed be Your name forever and ever!
