We Long To Be Close
Lord, You've revealed Yourself to me,
showing me what Your will is to be.
The faithfulness that You have shown,
has blessed me Lord, and I have grown.
In the knowledge of Your mercy and grace,
I am driven to continually seek Your face.
As I watch Your mighty works in those around me,
how precious the way You care for each one individually.
You know us as you created us for Your purpose alone,
may the obedience You desire be what is shown.
You are our Savior, Redeemer, Friend who is dear,
to You and You alone may we draw ever so near.
Hold us close, I know you will never let go,
especially when we're in the valleys so low.
Teach us Your ways through Your Spirit so true,
for we long to be close to only You.
