6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge...
Hosea 4:6a

14and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14

6Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.
John 1:24-28

John, to my dear friends in Christ; the events that occurred in New York three weeks ago remind me of the three verses above. First in Hosea 4:6 we see one of the main themes of the Old Testament. Today's Christian in America is dying for lack of knowledge of God's Word. God's Word tells us we are separated from the world and should not act as the world does, read 1 Corinthians and you will understand. The opinions coming from most of the Christian community are shocking. Whenever events occur that shock us, as those that occurred in New York, they should remind us there is constant spiritual battle going on around us. The attack on New York was not on America, but what America once represented, Jesus Christ. This is God's wake up call to the Christian community around the world, repent and return to Me (1 Chronicles 7:14). Most American Christians are no different from the world around us and have become lukewarm, an example is the divorce rate is the same or greater for professing Christians as compared with the rest of the US. We need to separate ourselves from worldly things and beliefs that Jesus would not do, nor could He be with us if we did them. Do you watch R-rated movies with unmarried people having sex or where God's name is taken in vain? Do you watch shows that glorify witchcraft or read the daily horoscope when God said it was detestable (Deuteronomy 18:8-14). Do you listen to music that constantly talks about how good it is to sin? Do you gossip in your office about other co-workers? God says this is sin and we are not to partake but separate ourselves from these sins.

Other sad events that occurred after the disaster are the prayers by Christian religious leaders. Almost everyone missed the opportunity to profess Jesus Christ as the Way, the Truth, and the Life to the Father, all other ways lead to hell. Yes, this isn't tolerant of today's times, but when judgment time comes around, Jesus will not be tolerant either. Remember, Jesus said it not me, there is NO OTHER WAY TO SALVATION but through Jesus Christ. Not through Mohammad, Buda, being a Jew, or any other religious system including Christianity. The only way is through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Many people are searching, are you telling them lies about the many roads to God, or are you telling them the truth and that there is only one narrow way to God through Jesus Christ?!!! Jesus in Revelation 3:16 talks about how He is ready to spit out the lukewarm church of Laodicea. Today's church in many ways is that church and I believe He is telling us to turn back to Him. He wants us to pray to Him continually, read His Word daily, fellowship with other believers constantly, not just on Sunday, and follow the leading of His Holy Spirit. Do you desire to do this, I pray you do, because any other way leads to a lukewarm life, and He said he will spit us out if we are lukewarm.

Dear Heavenly Father, we are just overwhelmed, we know you use events such as those that occurred in New York to wake us up, help us to do just that. Jesus, give us the desire and faith to separate ourselves from the worldly sin and to tell the world of the only way to the Father, You. I pray for the salvation of people world wide especially those who are impacted by the tragic events, and I pray especially for the salvation of those who planned and celebrated over those events. I pray that the President's and congress' actions are in accordance with Your Word and that they allow room for You to exact justice as You tell us in Your word, in Jesus name I Pray, Amen.

God's Many Blessings to You,

john
