John, to my dear friends in Christ; before I start I would like to let you know that more than likely there will be no encouragements in the month of April. April and I will be visiting our daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren in Germany. Pray that all goes well, you see we will be taking a military hop there and back and you never really know how things will turn out. We feel God has said it is OK for us to go, so no matter what happens it will be in His will.

In 2 Timothy 2:19 we have another promise from God. Can you think of anything that can be firmer than God's foundation? I can't. Can you think of anything better than having God's seal on it? I can't. We have the promise of God that He knows who are His. There is no mystery with God, believe it or not, He knew who where His before He created the earth. Isn't this awesome! We can face any trial or persecution knowing that God knows that we are His. We can have faith to be obedient to Him knowing we are His and not just some insignificant pawn. No matter what Satan may whisper in your ear you will always have the comfort of knowing we are God's. Mess up, and we all mess up from time to time, you're still His. He waits with open arms for us to come running back. You know what amazes me about being His, there is no way I could earn a way to be His and there is no way I could earn more love from Him, because His love is infinite and unconditional. My only desire is to grow closer to Him and to do what he asks me to do.

Dear Heavenly Father, I pray for myself and my friends that we remember through out the rest of our lives that we are Yours. And I pray we have the courage to tell others that they can have the promise that they can be Yours as well, in Jesus name I Pray, Amen.
