I was working on another Encouragement devotional when the Lord led me to the above Scripture promise.  There are a several of you who, at this time, are in need of His assurance that He is with you.  Well, beloved, rest under the shelter of His wings (Ps. 61:4) and hide in the heart of His above promise, for He is with you, He will not fail nor forsake you.  He has gone ahead of you and He will always be with you.  What an awesome God!  All He desires you to do is "be strong and courageous" don't be afraid or tremble at your trails, stand strong in HIS strength and KNOW that what He has said will come to pass.  Once He has spoken He does not change (Mal. 3:6) for He is faithful (1 Thess. 5:24) and reliable (Heb. 13:8).

 

Beloved, I know that their are times when our thoughts are bombarded with questions, doubt, fear ... but these are not from the Lord; questions are okay, provided your motivation is sincere.  I am here to encourage you, beloved, to place your focus on the Lord and not your circumstances.  Lift your heart to Him in praise and thanksgiving for His faithful promise.  He is worthy of our praise and thanksgiving even when we're not in the mood.  Go on, give it a try - lift your hands and your heart to the Holy One and give Him honor, praise and glory.   You'll find your heart grows lighter and the peace and joy of the Lord returns when you focus back on our loving and faithful Lord.  To Him be all glory.

 

Heavenly Father, thank You so much for Your faithfulness.  Thank You for Your promises to us, individually.  Help us to keep our focus on You during our times of trail and testing; let us remember that You are right there with us and, Holy Spirit, place a song of praise on our hearts.  Remind us daily, Lord, of Your love for us and Your words "be strong and courageous, do not fear, for I am with you, I have gone ahead of you, I will be with you, I will not fail nor forsake you, do not fear nor be dismayed."   You, O Lord, are our Stronghold, our souls cling to You; and it's Your right hand that upholds us.  All power belongs to You, Lord; and our lips will praise Your holy name.  Thank You for hearing and answering our prayer we pray by faith, in Jesus name.  Amen
