"You are awesome, O God, in Your
sanctuary; the God of Israel gives power and strength to His
people." Psalm 68:35
He is an awesome God and He still gives power and strength to
His people for "I, the LORD do not change..." (Mal.
3:6).
Recently, during my quiet time, I was prompted to look back
upon scripture I had just underlined while I read through
passages, as they spoke to me. I'd like to share the following
passages with you. Allow the Lord speak to your heart, ask Him
what it is He desires to say to you. May you hear His voice
clearly.
"No one from the east or the west or from the desert can exalt a
man. But it is God who judges: He brings one down, He exalts
another. The LORD reigns, He is robed in majesty; the
LORD is robed in majesty and is armed with strength.
Your throne was established long ago; You are from all eternity. Mightier
than the thunder of the great waters, mightier than the breakers of the sea the
LORD on high is mighty. Your statutes stand firm;
holiness adorns Your house for endless days, O LORD.
The LORD knows the thoughts of man; He knows
that they are futile. When I said, "My foot is slipping," Your love, O
LORD, supported me. When anxiety was great within me,
Your consolation brought joy to my soul. But the LORD
has become my fortress, and my God the Rock in whom I take refuge. For
You, O LORD, are the Most High over all the earth; You are
exalted far above all gods. Let those who love the LORD hate evil, for He guards the lives of His faithful ones and
delivers them from the hand of the wicked. Light is shed upon the
righteous and joy on the upright in heart. Rejoice in the LORD, you who are righteous, and praise His holy name. Sing
to the LORD a new song, for He has done marvelous things;
The LORD has made His salvation known and revealed His
righteousness to the nations. All the ends of the earth have seen the
salvation of our God.
Exalt the LORD our God and worship at His
footstool; He is holy. Exalt the LORD our God and
worship at His holy mountain, for the LORD our God is
holy. Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.
Worship the LORD with gladness; come before Him with joyful
songs. Know that the LORD is God. It is He who
made us, and we are His; we are His people, the sheep of His pasture.
Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him
and praise His name. For the LORD is good and His love
endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations."
Amen. (Psalm 75: 6-7; 93: 1a,2,4-5; 94: 11,18-19,22; 97: 9-12; 98: 1a,2-3;
99:5,9; 100:1-5)
Have a most joyous day in our Lord!
April
